Breakfast was unbelievable. Too much!!! Absolutely delicious!
The home is splendid...very old style which is what we like. Close to bus to get to town.
The room was a wee bit small, but that's the only wee downside

Definitely the host, Ginette was very hospitable, lovely, and helpful. It felt like visiting a member of my family rather than staying in a B&B. She gave us a welcome drink, chocolates and biscuits. The breakfast was phenomenal, we had an early museum reservation and she tried to accommodate us and even gave us bags so we can take any food we didn’t get the chance to eat to catch our reservation. That food was enough for breakfast & lunch! Highly recommended.
The house is old, but to me that adds to the charm.

The property is so beautiful and full of character. Everything was lovely and clean and the location was wonderful. Just out of the centre so we were able to park our car and leave it on the drive for the duration of our stay. Getting into the centre was very easy, a lovely walk or a quick bus ride. Ginette, our host was so wonderful and accommodating. My husband is vegan and Ginette made sure that there were plenty of options for him to eat and breakfast was a feast with plenty left over to take a doggy bag for lunch which saved us a small fortune in eating out. We couldn’t have asked for a better host and a better place to stay for our anniversary break.

Ginette is an excellent host, the location is ideal for our needs and is not far to walk into Bruges, there is also the bus option as well. Had a good nights sleep and the breakfast sets you up nicely for the following day. The good thing with Ginette is that she takes time with her guests to ensure they jnow where they are going in the city.
There is nothing we don't like.

A wonderful hotel, Ginette is a very kind lady who cares deeply about the well-being and comfort of her guests. She welcomes you early in the morning with a superb, complete, and delicious breakfast. Every detail of her décor is astonishing and reflects the love she puts into everything she does. The house is marvelous, like stepping into a fairytale. The rooms are very comfortable; we stayed in Majestic and will undoubtedly return. We are already eager to come back. Thank you for my birthday surprise, Ginette!

Very Poor
I wish I could give this property a good review. Everything was ok until two unacceptable things happened.
1- Bedbugs:
After a 1-night stay in November, I noticed over 60 bedbug bites, which were extremely itchy for several days and left me very stressed about the possibility of bringing bed bugs home.
When I informed the B&B and requested a reimbursement, they said that bed bugs can be found anywhere (restaurants, trains), and refused to offer compensation without "a photo of bedbugs in the room or something". Unfortunately, as bites only appeared after departure, I couldn't provide such proof. But other customers have recently reported similar experiences at this property (you can see that in previous reviews). The property did not offer any other resolution and said they "do everything they can to avoid it and I think we cannot be held responsible for it.".
Booking.com offered to refund me only a small percentage of what I paid, leaving me with a stressful experience and expenses for laundry and medication.
2- Misunderstanding at checkout:
Upon departure, there was an uncomfortable situation regarding a supposedly missing soap dish from the room my friends stayed in. We felt the owner's approach was very harsh and we felt accused of stealing from her. We opened our luggage to show we didn’t have it and even offered to pay for it even though we did not take anything. Later, the owner found the soap dish on the property and apologized.

Ginette was an incredible host and her breakfast was truly special. Her attention to detail is amazing and she helped make our stay in Bruges a wonderful experience. 30 mins walk to centre or bus stop 50m from property.

A unique house. Perfectly located to walk into Bruges, but also nice and quiet in the evening. Parking on site is a fantastic benefit. Ginette is an amazing host. She genuinely cannot do enough for you, from her welcome chat, giving you all the knowledge of Bruges you will need, through to her amazing breakfasts, which vary day to day, and if you can't finish it you get to take it away in a doggy bag to supplement you in your travels. Would highly recommend.
