We were contacted a few days before our stay to say we were being moved to the property next door as there was now an event on at the property.
Room in adjacent property was fine but did not have the wow factor of the property we booked adjacent which is overlooking the canal. Stay was pleasant but disappointing as we’d booked this property months in advance specifically for the amazing views and reviews.

We stayed in the Cottage and it was just fantastic. Spacious, very comfortable, clean and it had everything we needed. It is located very centrally and at the same time is very quite, even if the city was quite busy. Bert was very kind and it was inspiring to see his dedication and attention to detail in managing his property. Highly recommended and we hope to be back soon.

The best location in all of Bruges with the most spectacular views from every corner. The staff were beyond kind and accommodating, concerned with providing the best possible stay. I look forward to coming back!

Really amazing breakfast with many options that kept arriving to surprise us! Perfect location to explore the rest of Bruges, spacious and modern suites, lovely views and attentive host. Highly recommend for family or friends or couples.

We had a great family room that was actually two rooms adjoined. The rooms were spacious and the a/c was a welcome amenity since it was pretty hot out. Breakfast in the garden, along the canal, was a highlight (as was having a glass of wine in the evening out there).
we had a car, so had to park offsite, but we knew this and we were made aware ahead of time. only a 3-5min walk away.

Absolutely beautiful room, patio, and dining area. The owner, Bert, is present, nice, and communicated quickly! It’s located so close to the main area of Bruges, only about a block from the center of town, belfry tower, and many restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and the backdrop sitting along the canal was perfect. Our patio off our room was amazing, and really made the price worth it. The room had AC which was a nice plus after the European heatwave that had just past.

Wonderful
Bert and Astrid made us feel at home, always stopping to have a chat, and welcomed into their home. The location was excellent. Not far from the centre of the old town and all the tourist attractions, but still in a quiet area for the laid back ambiance of the city.
That we couldn't stay longer.
