We have an upgrade… and it was wonderful. I booked room with bigger bad, and some extras, but they were fully booked, and we have suits as bonus. Beautiful bath, view, and other. Bath was wonderful plus after long trip.
Suits also have beautiful interior
The breakfast was the great too.
Navigation to the parking not visible when you have a long-distance drive and little unfocused.

Well stocked breakfast is a pleasure to start the day, they even have an omelette station with a chef. That was a pleasant surprise. Loved the pool, small but refreshing, especially during the heat wave I was hiding from.
I specifically booked the room to get some work done while outside it was scorching hot. Sadly the airconditioning was not pulling its weight. Understandable in the heat, but still disappointing. The receptionist helped me by trying to find another room, but all rooms had the same problem. She did get me a fan, noisy but better than nothing.

Booked the hotel last minute as we were on our way to the Shuttle, it had great reviews, and definitely lived up to them. The reception staff were lovely and helpful. We ate in the restaurant as it was late. The food and drinks were good and good value ( compared to Norway, where we had been touring )
The parking is free and validated by reception.
The hotel has a pool and gym which we didn’t have time to use, but looked very nice.
Would definitely recommend

Outside unable to sit in luxe terras as other van de valk hotels.
Also the scaffolding on outside of building therefore windows not clean on outside and the view to Antwerp city was obstructed.
