Modernised historic hotel in outstanding location. Spacious well equipped room, great breakfast. Private parking nearby but see below…
The hotel is great but getting to it in a car is a bit fraught. Descending into the bowels of the parking even more so! Antwerp best visited by train I think!

Great hotel- modern, clean, our room was very pretty, light and spacious. Bathroom was massive and had Rituals soaps and shampoos… loved them so much that had to go to the store and buy same ones for home. Breakfast was not grand but had everything one might need. All fresh, soft and tasty. I loved the fact that there was fresh OJ machine and a honeycomb (!). Location- perfect. In the very heart of the city but on the quiet part. Hotel overall was very quiet- no stomping or slamming doors noises- as a very light sleeper I appreciate this. Best part is the staff- all are really great and super helpful. The lady at the front desk (with dark hair) was the sweetest person- very helpful and always smiling, breakfast ladies were very nice and attentive. Such a great vibe from people, honestly. We loved Antwerp and this hotel and will be coming back.
Two minor details really. Construction starts early and the loudest works happening in the morning, but it’s still quite a moderate noise, I’m just a light sleeper. I think rooms have soundproofing. AC cannot be controlled from the room- we live in a hot climate and are used to AC blasting in full. So it is impossible to sleep in a warm room - we arrived during a heatwave. (Reception people lowered the temp for me few times but I was shy to keep asking so we tried to just go on with it). These did not spoil the overall impression- minor details, as I said.

Excellent location, good breakfast, surprisingly big and comfortable rooms. You can book parking place for extra money. Late check out is also available.
The soundproofing could be better. The hotel does not have bike to rent. It is a big miss in this this city.

Beautiful hotel but the ongoing construction outside my hotel room compromised my experience. Booking.com and the hotel should collaborated and NOT allow the hotel to book a room adjacent to construction and drilling. Bad form.

The room was a good size and bed comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful. Amazing location to everything.
I book a deluxe twin room for me and my daughter and we ended up in a deluxe king size instead. Because we were there for only one night, we took it. Although they did say that they would move us later on. But we were too tied after our flight. Also, I was expecting a shower and we only had one over the bath and I have difficulty getting my leg over the bath.

I liked the decor and location
We were unhappy with the renovation in garden view rooms. The noise in the morning wasn’t pleasant, though fortunately we woke early. Overall, it was good.
