Very Poor
The staff was mostly very kind.
Absolutely everything. Do not come here if you want to pay an absurd amount of money for a hotel that says it’s 4 stars, but is nothing more than a 3 star hotel on a GOOD day. The AC doesn’t work anywhere so it’s 30+ degrees in all of the rooms and corridors, the sheets are DIRTY, stuff is broken in all of the rooms, there are only tiny bottles of very cheap soap and schampoo and stuff and the breakfast barely serves anything. There are better hotels in the area, do not waste your money here even if you think it’s a good price.

Disappointing
In terms of location, it’s really good - close to the station and the zoo, and the metro stop so you can get into the old centre in a few stops. The bed was really comfy too. That’s the positives - location and bed.
The negatives … well - the hotel looks tired, with chipped paint and dingy corridors. The wiring in the hotel room was a bit off, as the TV relied on having the bedside light on in order to function… this is a weird choice, if that’s what it was, and shoddy work if it wasn’t. We did try and report the faulty TV when we struggled to turn it on only for the manager to give a superbly Gallic shrug and cheerfully tell us there was nothing he could do as he had no maintenance engineer to take a look… The breakfast was very lacklustre and is served in a basement, with pastries and ham that seemed as tired as the decor, and bacon and eggs served from a metal container that somehow managed to look both underdone and overcooked simultaneously. The coffee machine seemed to have been set to dispense hot brown water rather than anything with any flavour. Another bonus was the stains. Stains you ask? Oh yes, stains. There was a weird one on the picture in the bedroom, and a smaller one on the TV screen. No idea what or how it got there. The mind boggles. There was also a chaise-longue by the lift entrance on our floor that looked like it had seen better days - perhaps after being a prop in a porn shoot. Definitely needed a bit of Febreze and going over with a nail brush and some Vanish. And finally… smelled a bit musty.

The hotel is in the Central of the city, easy access to trains, buses and the subway and shops. Nice view
Customer service was poor At my arrival on 3rd July 2025 at the hotel, the receptionist was so rude, no good customer and changed my booking to a lower room. I tried to explain to him, but he was not willing to listen to me. The service I paid for was not given to me on the night of my arrival. The booking was for two. So, the next morning, 4th July, I went to the reception desk and asked to speak to the manager, but the manager was not around. A Staff member, Stephanie, assisted in changing my room and gave me the standard room I paid for. Stephanie was so helpful. I have never experienced what I experienced on the evening, since I started using Booking.com. And I have booked the hotel so many times.

Nothing except location
Hotel run down and dirty. Had to ask for air-conditioning on as very hot, kept turning off. Beds very small and uncomfortable. No tea coffee supplies on arrival in room, when asked for some , got 1 each for 3 nights. Room not cleaned once!! When complained, they sent 2 towels, no apologies. For a supposedly 4 star it was very very disappointing, I would give it 2 stars. I could go on, but needless to say, we won't be back

Exceptional
The hotel is in walking distance from Antwerp Centraal train station and there are lots of places to eat and shop nearby. There are metro stops nearby, but no above-ground trams. They had a really good breakfast as well.
There’s no accessible entrance to the hotel. You have to climb about 5 stairs to get into the lobby. This is hard for people with mobility issues or heavy suitcases.

Location was good.
The staff are not friendly, during my stay I didn’t hear “good morning” at all and they don’t even answer it. The bread was not always fresh. The a/c was broken, and despite that they “switched it on” in the reception, it did not work.

Location good for town centre life.
Bar closed for refurbishment. AC broken was told to open a window. Parking hard to attain. Staff didn’t care a monkeys. Tired old hotel with minimum features and staff attitude not great.

Very good location and polite staff especially the check-in gentleman when we arrived.
I requested single beds in all but one room however on arrival they had no knowledge of this request even though on my confirmation with you it states single beds. The check in gentleman could only offer 2 rooms with single beds leaving 2 pairs with just doubles. This, as you can imagine is not acceptable but one pair agreed to share and the only other alternative was to upgrade to a suite which came at an additional cost. How do I claim that additional cost?

location!!!
Ran into a problem because they gave me a card that was for the staff and I accidentally opened the wrong room. Was worried about security and safety around it. I explained my concern and they fixed it. Most lights did not work, twin beds, one was not clean at all. Had spots and hair everywhere. The fridge was not working.
