How can you justify a room one night for 70 and then increase the price to 250 the next night ?

The room has a kitchen with necessary items (fridge, microwave). Also the location was quite good and the view from the balcony was nice. But...
The room was just old and kinda dirty (worst was the bathroom). Our towels had stains on them. Also when we arrived there was a big leakage from the kitchen tap (but staff was helpful in this problem).

We booked in and checked out after driving there from the Netherlands. It was terrible. it's stinky and dirty, and we felt unsafe, we didn't even want to leave the dog alone in the apartment. We decided to leave, and our whole weekend was ruined! We paid a lot of money because it is non refundable. So we had to cancel allnour plans for Belgium because that would have been our homebase to do other things. We just came back home!
There was absolutely nothing to like!!

We had apartment on 5th floor but no one mentioned that lift was out of order, would t be a problem but as i am walking with crutches was so challenging get there, cant imagine someone on wheelchair or with stroller

Location
There was no electricity for some hours. Elevator didn't work (we were on 5th floor), oven didn't work, microwave didn't work. Our floor smelled terrible due to some electrical fire. No compensation was offered

Location and price
Looking much worse than on pictures. Partially without electricity i.e in bathroom (malfunction). Smell of trashes on corridor.

Spacious, comfortable, location close to Central Station, but 30 min walk to Historic Centre. Stove and hobs not working.
Roomy, close to train station, good shower.
