We selected this hotel due to the location. If you are familiar with Bangladesh, you will be aware that drivers use car horns frequently, including during the night. So, you want a hotel that's off of the main road. I am happy to say that I had very peaceful nights at the Marino Royal.
Breakfast is slightly limited.

The rooms were well furnished and very clean. Staff were friendly and despite the location near the airport we couldn't hear any planes taking off or landing. The breakfast service was good.

We LOVED the modern room (similar to good US hotels), the management, the staff, their services, the wonderful restaurant, and a great location in Dhaka!
We are Americans of Bangladeshi origin. We travel all over the US and the world, so we can easily compare the accommodations, amenities, meals and services of any hotel. In July 2024, my brother and I stayed for 16 nights.
We give Marino Royal Hotel in Uttara our highest rating for a boutique hotel!
It is noteworthy that our stay coincided with the massive political disturbance in Bangladesh. Yet, the hotel service did not skip a beat, everything went flawlessly for us! The hotel management, the staff from the front desk to housekeeping to the on-premises restaurant exceeded our expectation even during the difficult period in Dhaka.
Our experience began with the Manager Mr. Anwar Hossain who promptly responded to my questions that I messaged from the US while booking the room. The housekeeping staff looked after our every need from cleaning the room meticulously to providing fresh towels to stocking the refreshments in our room refrigerator. The restaurant on the 10th floor is beautifully appointed with exceptionally attendant wait staff; and the 40-item breakfast buffet (included in our room price) is to die for – extremely flavorful variety of dishes!
We want to give a special thankyou to Chef Peter and his staff for planning and executing a special dinner for a party we threw for my sister's family in the hotel's restaurant. The dinner party was phenomenal!!!
We felt extremely safe with the security arrangements at this hotel.
In future, we expect to stay at this hotel again during our visits to Dhaka when my wife will accompany me to visit my sister’s family who lives nearby in Uttara.
Lastly, we bid our deep appreciation to the entire staff and management of Marino Royal Hotel in Uttara for making our stay comfortable and full of joy!
