Restaurant across the street from the hotel that overlooked the water.
Cleanliness was the worst problem. Just by walking around the room my feet were black from all of the dirt on the floor. I finally put down a series of towels and other mats that I could find in the room so that I could walk from the bed to the bathroom without getting my feet dirty.
Also, the television in the room did not work for most of the time that I was there.

Good walking location to the gap beach is right across the street
nice shallow pool if parents are keeping tabs on the kiddos. Tons of food options in the area. There’s a convenience store and a few slot machines attached to the front of the building, which is helpful in a pinch. The staff was incredibly nice and everything was cleaned perfectly daily. The restaurant was great for breakfast.
To get outside of the area, you need to use a taxi opposed to the bus system which is much less expensive, and there was an influx of children there which was a little noisier than I would’ve liked, but this was more of a parenting watching their children issue than anything else. The pool also closes relatively early and the beds were incredibly soft.

Great location. Lots of walking areas for restaurants and things to do. Across from beach. Pool was average size but very clean and easy location. Great shower.
The rooms are average. No blanket. No extras like shampoo. Stripped down room. Towels and linens were very average not new but clean.

Disappointing
The hotel is in need of a face lift. It is quite tired looking although it is clean. I did not like the lack of amenities: no shampoo, body lotion or body wash ( only bars of soap) no tissues, no accessibility to ice. Not enough rooms with king beds

This hotel has a fantastic location. It is simple and delivers basic hotel services well enough.
Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Pool area is nice and not terribly crowded when we were there.
No shampoo in the room.

Location was great regarding all things beach and tourism (with tourism-related drawbacks of course). Much to do and easy to do near by. The hotel itself was clean and functional, staff was super nice and professional. Extra points for parking (no charge) in hotel car park!
The restaurant at site was not great. Food was sub-par, which many seemed to have noticed as it was not popular. Lots of decent (not great) restaurants near by though, although vegetarian food was hard to find (not a great island in general for it). Sound-proofing of hotel room was non-existent. New Years Eve was party 'till morning around hotel, as was every other night except New Years Day, which was a Thursday. Following Friday and Saturday the party continued. So if you are expecting peace and quiet - no. Value for money...considering options in the area: quite reasonable. Although I would suggest for peace and quite going a bit further out and getting more for your buck if closeness to beach is not a must.

Our room faced the gap (room #324) so we could hear the nightlife rather clearly, wasn't a problem for us since we're deep sleepers but just to note it was not a quiet room. The location was fantastic and the restaurant was a lovely experience.
We weren't given a preference to where our room was and it was a fair bit of walk with luggage and no elevator. The room key initially didn't work which delayed us a bit and we were on a bit of a tight schedule. This could be my misinterpretation but I don't recall the invoice stating the deposit quoted was per room, we book 2 rooms, was quoted the cost for 2 rooms and only quoted the deposit for one room which wasn't made clear until we got there.

The location is perfect. Walking distance to most things. There is a beach across the street.

Was expecting a more quieter room the room was right next to lobby and in the vicinity for main traffic in and out of the hotel, to pool and restaurant.
The pool was well kept and housekeeping was adequate but mostly this hotel was closer to where I need travel to and the area was near several beaches.
