The beds are a bit hard for me. Bathroom is small, but shower well sized. The floors can get slippery when wet. Restaurant service needs help.

Our first room had bugs so we had to be moved to another, rooms aren’t as pretty as online, maintenance came in to service AC midday with no notice, can hear all outside noise in rooms

Rooms dated… no stovetop ? Bathroom toilet old and shower

The vibe and music would have enhanced the experience.

Difficult check in, convenient store ACROSS the street! There is NO coffee maker even though they claim there is.

Noisy street. Room lacked a table with chairs to sit down and eat. Very smelly bathroom, looks like there is no p trap on the shower.

Sometimes the service at the bar was a little unclear: staff would sometimes tend to tables and other times you were expected to go up to the bar but there didn’t seem to be a set routine for this. Nevertheless the rum punch made up for it!

1. Late check in at 4 pm and early check out of 11.

I arrived two hours before check in which is at 4 pm. I was told I had to wait which is understandable. I had no problem waiting until I noticed other people showing up early, around 2:30-3 and being placed into rooms immediately. It was an off putting experience especially since everyone who came after me were white families. I noticed how nicely they were greeted and how they were instantly accommodated for while I had to wait. When it got to 4 pm I was told that I still didn’t have a room placement. A family that came after me asked if what was the hold up with my room since they saw I had been waiting for hours. I didn’t have an answer for them since I was never given a sufficient answer myself. I did not receive a room until 4:30 pm. It was not a good start to my trip and left me feeling uneasy since I never received an explanation and didn’t really receive an apology. The only other family I saw having issues checking in was another black family who actually arrived before I did. I had no complaints about the room. It was spacious and had a nice view of the beach. It was also very clean. The beach is very nice but unfortunately is full of rocks. If you do not have swim shoes, it may be an uncomfortable experience walking on an obstacle of rocks. I recommend going 10 minutes down the road to Browne’s Beach. As for the food at the hotel, there are three restaurants. Coco’s, Jake’s and a breakfast place that I unfortunately I didn’t make it to because the hours were only from 7-10 am and I missed it. The food at Coco’s is lackluster and expensive. For a buffet plate it was $100 Barbados. The food options were very limited, the food itself was barely warm and it wasn’t self served. The staff members serving the food were very stingy as if there was a shortage of food. Jake’s on the other hand was a decent sit down restaurant that had a good variety of food and drinks for fair prices. The staff at the hotel was not very friendly to myself and my party.

Beds could be more comfortable.
