The upstairs apartment we stayed in has the potential to be an idyllic place to stay, as the gallery online indicates. Location and size is great. Brilliant access to beautiful beach. We had sufficient space and appreciated, the groceries left in th fridge for our arrival However, the apartment felt neglected and was not fully cleaned in preparation for guests. This was disappointing. Kitchen surfaces and the fridge were not clean. Thankfully, request for further towels was answered, as one bathroom towel rail had an ant problem. The towels were coveredi with small ants, and the replacement towels needed a boil wash. We didn't receive the additional hangers we requested. We were a group of 4 so the feedback is joint. In view of our experience, we feel the payment was high. Be nice to see the apartment given some TLC

Roomy apartment (we had the top floor) right on a sandy beach, big kitchen, porch/living area with wooden shutters allows a great view from the kitchen and sitting room; good air-con in the bedrooms (only); close to the airport; good communication with the manager, who helped us set up a driver to pick us up (he even got us some groceries since we were arriving on a Sunday and the stores close in the afternoon). It's in a quiet neighborhood and far from the tourist crowds, so it's good if you're looking to "get away from it all"
Apparently it's the wind-surfing capital of the island and it was always windy, so it's not ideal for swimming (though we could have gone in if we didn't mind the waves); it's also far from shops and restaurants so we picked up groceries while we were in the city by taxi; you'll need transport if you don't rent a car; some of the appliances didn't work and the place needs a bit of a touch-up
