We love the old style rooms and the how quaint the house . Lots of Peacocks greet you everyday. Small pond style pool. Beautiful sunset view.
Not a complete con. But you really need a car rental. Nothing really to do in walking distance. We knew that coming in. Our shower had a low pressure issue. Needs a better system.

The rooms were very comfortable. Old Bajan style with modern convenience. Great beds and AC. With only 13 rooms, the atmosphere is quiet and restoring. We love the old coral block buildings and walkways made from tile used as ballasts from days of old. The lagoon like pool was stunning. The coi pond delightful. The Peacocks on property a pleasant surprise. The coffee was superb, the best we have had on the island and we've had quite a lot over the years.
Would have loved a microwave in the room.

Staff were excellent ! Loved Dwayne our mixologist and Jason our driver. Both were exceptional.

Quiet, nice grounds, nice room. Some staff very nice and helpful.
Location is isolated. Arrived early so room not ready - understandable. Attempt to get a room ready - zero. At 3 pm all rooms are magically available. More concerned about policy rules - 3pm check-in, only one bottle of water, checkout 1 minute late you will be charged ... rather than service.

Sweetfield is a little oasis of tranquility right in the heart of Bridgetown. It was so soothing to come back to after a hectic day, and it feels like you're in a countryside retreat even though it's an easy taxi ride from everything. The room was lovely, the pool and back garden were so relaxing, and I've never seen such chill peacocks! Will absolutely be back!
Honestly it was perfect for what I needed. I could have wished for a bigger bathrobe - both of the ones in the room were medium and I'm a 6' larger woman so I can imagine they'd be challenging for most men to get into as well.

Calm, serene location, with fabulous verandah, seemed a shame to be there for work without my wife - next time!. As relayed to the staff (who were wonderful), that was the best hotel breakfast I've had in many years. The room was amazing and full of character - so so not the corporate hotel style.
Only negative I could find is the bar/restaurant closes early afternoon, so no evening cocktails on site.

It was pretty and the food was great. The staff was kind.
The peacocks are super loud and all night and early morning. The shutters also banged all night on windows.

Breakfast was wonderful, we loved the peacocks they were absolutely stunning although we didn't get to see the monkeys but next time we definitely will

Pleasant
Beautiful grounds and great private terrace! I loved swinging on the suspended bed hammock. Also, all the animal sounds will make you feel like you're in a jungle...
We ate breakfast every day at the hotel and the food is good but the wait staff was rude (and we had three different servers and none of them were friendly to us).
