204 had a constant humming from ice making machine and could not enjoy a balcony outside. Constant noise from 7:00AM to 6:00PM

Breakfast was better than expected for a buffet. Food was good with a great variety and a very attentive staff.
No complaints at all! The only person who didn't go out of their way to accommodate was Helen at the bar who needs to work on smiling more and being less condescending.

The reservations staff were not very helpful during the booking process and discourteous.I was going to book another hotel.

Didn't like food or drinks ..serve the same meals everyday ..very Mid and that's being nice ..for the price we paid we expected better ..asked for a hard boiled egg ; when I cracked it I discovered it wasn't even cooked at all . No activities.. it's not a party vibe . But overall nice place if you like to relax

We were blown away by the incredible variety of mouthwatering food at every restaurant, with Umi and Sizzle definitely standing out as top-tier, 5-star dining experiences! The staff was warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive, and making sure the restaurants, pool, and beach areas were always spotless and inviting. Their attentiveness to detail really created a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere throughout our stay. Also, the housekeeping team was fantastic—our room was always spotless and smelled fresh after every cleaning, making it feel like a true retreat!
While we really enjoyed our time at Sugar Bay, the presence of the three resident cats was a bit of a problem, especially at dinner at The Reef. As someone with a severe cat allergy, it was nerve-wracking to see them roaming freely around the restaurant—it made dining there uncomfortable. On top of that, having cats run around the table during meals felt unsanitary, as they shed a lot of hair.
Additionally, for an all-inclusive resort, several times during our stay, there were no food options available, and we noticed the Bar & Grill kept changing their hours. If you missed breakfast, you were left waiting for 1-2 hours with no food until the Bar & Grill opened and the opening times were never the same from day to day, which made it inconvenient. A bit more consistency would have definitely improved the experience!

Not much. Food at Umi was good. Drinks were decent.
Could not use the beach due to Sargasm. The smell was terrible. staff was rude and unfriendly. It was awkward and uncomfortable.

Great private beach area and despite being on south of island, good for swimming. Good restaurant choices with buffet Reef restaurant and 2 a la carte options, Umi (Asian) and Sizzle steakhouse, although if you want to book both there is a B$50 / $25 surcharge. All the staff very friendly and helpful too, and really make for a pleasurable experience.
Some bits of the hotel like the gym and arcade could do with refreshing as look a bit tired and noticed a lot of the machines in arcade weren’t working.

Steak house on site was poor. Facilities on day pass were not acceptable. Changing room had wet floor. Should have been able to pre book a fixed time room to shower and change before departure.
