Only one beach towel per person? No resupply of toiletries? Unable to charge room at restaurant. Not enough USA TV channels. No watersports equipment. Did not offer a credit for disruption due to leaking AC unit??

The included breakfasts were somewhat disappointing.

Sadly our stay was hampered by our guests who we were treating had no hot water in their bathrooms. We were told that maintenance was not available until the next day so the family arrived and had cold showers and baths. The management did try to resolve it later on by offering for them to change rooms but by then their daughter was already in bed and as they only stayed a night it wasn't worth the upheaval. We were surprised not to see any goodwill gesture offered for this. There was also noisy garden maintenance happening which spolt the peace we were hoping to have. On our second day we were swimming in the sea near the hotel with a few other families when a local guy on a jet ski was speeding up and down in an obnoxious way with no regard for the swimmers (some were children). He then drove the jet ski dangerously near to us all and we could see he was drinking a beer! I had to say something and pointed out to him that there were children in the water and he was beyond the safety bouys and too close to us and I was concerned one slip of the wrist could result in an accident. He was very rude and said he could do what he wanted and even then asked if I wanted to jump on for a ride 'darling'. We ended up ending our swim as it was very unpleasant and I mentioned the incident to the towel guy at the hotel that this had happened. He told us that the jet skier could go wherever he wanted and there was no problem with his behaviour. He then took something from a bag and went into the sea to handover the package to the man (who was obviously a friend) and they exchanged something. This incident made us feel we don't want to return to this place as there is no understanding that guests should be allowed to be heard if soemthing is amiss. Also please dont stay here if you want to eat well it is very expensive and low quality- you are better going to the local Grandenes cafe just opposite for local delicious food and great smiley genuine service.

The air conditioning wasn’t working well in some rooms, but we didn’t need them as the ceiling fans worked beautifully. We weather was perfect and ac wasn’t necessary all the time. The one in the lounge and bathroom worked well and this helped at hot times and filtered through to the rest of the apartment

The restaurant really far below expectations. Took 3 hours to get our food and there were only 4 tables occupied. Quality really bad and super expensive. Fish of the day were like 4 bites of fish my son had to order and wait for another meal after if. Breakfast was ok.

We liked everything!

The food on the property is way below average and extremely overpriced. A small salad with fries cost us nearly $60 US. GO TO SPEIGHTSTOWN TO EAT GREAT FOOD - DONT EAT ON THE PROPERTY. (We recommend Cherry Beach Restaurant and the Fish Pot.) For being a resort charging nearly $600/night US they also didn't offer any basics like coffee in the room. There is a Nespresso machine in the room that advertises an info card stating complimentary pods are provided with your stay, but the hotel did not provide any pods and made us pay $10 Barbados dollars for just 2 pods that were produced from a housekeeper’s pocket. They will nickel and dime you for everything once on the property. ALSO BEWARE: the property will invoice you in Barbados dollars that they will make you sign, and then will select their own exchange rate and bill you in US dollars. They lied to us and stated they couldn’t run our card in Barbados dollars so they can set their own exchange rate. While there the elevator to the beach was out of service. This appeared to be temporary and unusual. The property is some distance from Speightstown and the sidewalks are spotty. You need to rent a car or pay a lot for cab to move around..

Block 4 is behind the kitchen extractor which makes an awful noise from 7 am to 9 pm
