The peaceful environment

Great location. Close to the beach. Clean and well looked after. Good WiFi. Bob was very responsive and made us feel very welcome. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment as a great base for a visit to this beautiful island.

The apartment was lovely, very clean and spacious and good facilities - kitchen equipment, beach towels etc. Good air conditioning and powerful shower. Bed was very comfortable. Good value for money and nicer than we expected. There were even a few beers/soft drinks in the fridge on arrival. The woman who lives on site let us store our bags and she was so lovely. Bob who met us with the keys was very nice. A few nice places to eat nearby - the Roti Den is really nice, Gazebo beach bar, Mr Vic's was great with live music.

We enjoyed the lovely sea views from the Balcony, amazing sunsets. We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment on the first floor. Enjoyed cooking in the well equiped kitchen. Bob is a super host.

Everything

We have been to the south of Barbados before and we’re wanting to explore the west coast independently and without breaking the bank. Yes the property is up a slight hill but we knew that and 5 mins down the hill you can access buses to take you to Holetown and Speightown the areas we spent most of our time, plus the local beach Paynes beach and Local eateries-roti den and de clay oven offering good value food. There is also a small supermarket for food provisions attached to a garage. The apartment was very clean and very well equipped. There is a lovely gazebo in the garden which gets a nice breeze. Comfy extra large/king size bed with soft sheets and air conditioning was very welcomed. The main area doesn’t have AC but we were out all day so it wasn’t an issue for us. In the mornings we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. Bob made everything really easy. We arrived late on a Sunday and he even kindly took us down the hill to get a few provisions for the next day. The Wi-Fi is excellent there is also a smart tv, laundry area and dishwasher with everything supplied. There was even some Banks beer chilling in the fridge for us. Would definitely stay again.

Very spacious,excellent value ,well equipped kitchen. Bob the host was excellent,very helpful and gave us a good fact sheet as well as arranging taxis and taking us shopping on our first night . 5 -10 minutes walk to beach and road where there were buses and the Cliff Restaurant . Lovely neighbour - Dorothy too !

I stayed at Morris Apartments with my sister for a 2-week stay and Bob kindly collected us from the airport on arrival, and took us to a local supermarket to purchase some provisions as we had arrived late in the evening. I cannot express how brilliant the apartment suited our needs which was like a home from home, and is about 5-7 minute walk to Paynes Beach in St. James. Bob was a brilliant host and was good enough to provide us guide sheet with a list of useful restaurants, taxis, supermarkets etc. Joan and her son came to the apartment to provide a weekly clean, and we also met the wonderful Dorothy in the neighbouring apartment. If anyone is thinking of staying in the area, I would highly recommend Morris Apartments. Bob - thank you again for looking after us, you are wonderful. We look forward to returning.

Bob was very attentive host. Lives somewhere nearby and often comes. The apartment has everything you need with all the facilities for independent life on the island. From the balcony there was a beautiful view of the sea; the backyard has shaded areas and contains a gazebo with comfortable outdoor furniture.

it was much better than the pictures suggested. really clean with a fabulous garden. Bob was so nice, we didn’t want to leave. A/C and Wi-Fi were brilliant. great local food and bar options in the area. we had a great time and will return as soon as possible. Thanks Bob, we had a one of the best experiences ever at your place

Great location, fantastic host, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. short walk to beach, bars and restaurants. buses run frequently.
