Rooms were large and clean. Unfortunately we did not have any sort of view
Our mattress was worn and had a huge hollow space. We tried to move and they would have accommodated but the place was full. The attitude of the staff in some instances was bizarre in being dismissive and rude, as if we were wasting their time. Cleaning staff person rolled her eyes and was mad when i told her that we didn’t want our room cleaned at 9 am and to come back in 2 hours. However, some other staff members were very pleasant.

Receptionists all very nice and helpful.
Bed sheets wasn’t clean. Breakfast started at 8am. Shop shut 5/6pm. Nobody was ever at the spa. Late check out made very difficult and felt uncomfortable.

The Beach View Hotel is a fantastic base for exploring Barbados. The apartments are spacious, giving you plenty of room to relax, they’re very well equipped for self catering.
It doesn’t feel like a ‘hotel’. You have the choice of dining at the Sugar Apple Café and a little bar had just opened when we were there, complete with a pool table and darts board, which was a nice touch.
The staff were super helpful and friendly, always happy to assist. Paynes Bay, just across the road, is a beautiful beach and great for collecting sea glass. You can hire sun loungers and a parasol for $40 BBD or borrow smaller chairs and a parasol from the hotel behind the little shop, which is handy for picking up basic supplies. We also had a grocery pack delivered for our arrival, which made things so much easier after a long journey.
There’s plenty of car parking on site, which is ideal if you’re hiring a car to explore the island. The only downside is the very noisy road at the front of the hotel and there’s no real escape from it unless you stay in the duplexes at the back of the site. However, overall, it’s a great place to stay with everything you need for a relaxed and enjoyable trip.

We had an apartment with a great view of the sea and the pool in the grounds. The apartment was well appointed, bathroom could be a bit more modern but nevertheless it was clean, had a powerful shower, always the mark of a good bathroom. Transport by bus into town is easy, fast and cheap. Hole Town has all the shops, bars, cafes etc. Staff on site were very friendly and efficient. The restaurant served great food at a reasonable price. Swimming pools were very good. We didn't see any entertainment on site but not a problem because there is plenty to do at night in the local areas.
IT would be all picky little things....no pool service unless you want to pay for it! Any short-comings though were easily sought elsewhere nearby. We were directly opposite The Cliff restaurant which if you save up enough is worth the lunchtime visit.

Very comfortable villas, very clean and friendly staff. Pools were great and the food was affordable. Also walking distance from the beach, some restaurants etc.

Loved this hotel. Great location directly opposite QP Bistro! We had a lovely 2 story villa, it had everything we could need including washer & dryer! Quiet chilled out pool area, nobody reserving sunbeds all day and not using! Perfect!
