Some of the staff were really friendly. The restaurant staff were really nice and one of the front desk staff, she was very pleasant (the older person). There was one particular person at the front desk, I did not get her name but she was awful. She really needs to get some customer service training. I can’t be paying my money to stay at a place where the staff has a behavior like that.

Gaps in entrance doors allowing insects /flies into the apartment

This property gives senior citizen retirement home vibes. Definitely not a luxury property. The shuttle that was advertised was not available. There wasn't any air in the living room space off the villa. The bedroom didn't have a tv. The breakfast was overpriced for the quality.

So quiet and nice

Set up. A bit historical, however I was there for business so did not matter. Internet was good

I didn't like that the wifi didn't work the entire trip. We told the staff and they said they had no other complaints and so they sent the "tech guy" who did nothing but unplug and re plug the modem which didn't solve the issue. I didn't like that the gym is LOCKED. I also didn't like that breakfast starts at 8am which is LATE

Food,don't care for Indian cuisine

Check in is 4pm which in itself is pretty unique, but when you arrive at 4pm and your rooms still aren’t ready, that’s just a joke

Poor upkeep of interior ( heavily water stained bathroom blind and dangerous cooker rings as they were not flat and were not even attached to the hob correctly) and exterior (rusty bars on windows, poor paintwork, broken pathways), no AC in lounge area making it impossible during hot weather to cook in the apartment or to sit inside in the evenings. Also meant bedroom door had to permanently closed to avoid heating it up also.

My real concern here was character limits on my review. DANGER - Atop the laundry list. We opted to order a taxi via the hotel receptionist to travel to dinner during our stay. We were met with a driver, who managed to achieve the following during our eight minutes in his remarkably smelly car: 1) Drove portions of the journey with the door open; 2) Swerved erratically down roads akin to a slalom participant skiing down the Alps; 3) Became irate when we didn’t respond to his mumbling (and in our view, drunken) verbal diarrhoea. We subsequently complained to hotel receptionist upon our return who proceeded to “investigate”, and then gaslight us - claiming most of what we had experienced didn’t happen - but acknowledged that the driver admitted to driving with the door open but the receptionist proudly announced that “I told him he shouldn’t do that”. COULD IT GET WORSE - Our final night arrived. We asked the front desk to arrange a taxi for us to head to dinner. We wandered down to the front of the hotel and got into the back of a taxi. We then looked into the front seat. Perhaps predictable. Perhaps not. Incredible either way. We were faced looking at the same taxi man we had complained about two nights previous. They had arranged for him to collect us AGAIN. We asked him immediately to let us out of the car upon which point he actually pressed the lock door button in what I can only assume was an effort to trap us in his car. Happily, my better half had already opened her door and we left as quick as we could as the driver drove away. A genuinely scary experience. We wandered back to the hotel and arrived at the front desk expressing in no uncertain terms how unhappy we were they had once again put us in this position. It was frankly alarming that the lady we spoke with not only said that it had nothing to do with her but expressed to us that this man was the only available Taxi on the entire island so “what do you expect?”.

The location of our room, we asked to be moved but the staff would not accommodate our request . I understand they were fully booked however there were changeovers every day so they could have moved us especially considering we were there for over 2 weeks . The bin in the kitchen was impossible to get out and empty plates etc into it. Only used the pool one day , there were nice sunbeds but they were chained up so could only slide them left or right slightly. The cooker rings were bent so could only use a couple of them, we had to ask for a sharp knife to cut things ( veg etc) as none in room. No condiments supplied. Lumpy bed on one side only ( it was a zipped double and was as if one side was much older than the other ) overall we were disappointed and would not stay there again

The garden sunbeds are uncomfortable and could do with updating. It would be nicer to have air-conditioning in the living room too.

A more choice of eateries, only evening offering is Indian food . Very nice but not for every day. Breakfast offered but limited options. A better quality oven would be a great idea

I wanted a quiet part of the hotel and I was staying at a crossroads. They replaced my broken phone in 3 days. There was no food available in the hotel during the day, only an Indian restaurant in the evening.
