We stayed in Villa Una for two nights on the beginning of August, 2024. This is the city of my ancestors and I must say that we had an amazing experience at this hotel. First of all, the owners are sweet and very attentive to your needs. I didn’t speak Croatian, but we could understand each other perfectly either in English or Italian and with my very basic Croatian!
The room is super comfortable, the beds were like clouds from the sky. It was ultra clean which was an amazing change after staying in overpopulated hostels in Croatia, which cost the same or even more. The bathroom, although small, had everything needed. Given that Sarajevo is not hell on earth regarding the weather (compared to Dalmatia), so even if we didn’t have AC in our room (you can pay more if you want to for it) the fan was more than enough for us.
We didn’t experience any of the problems that other customers talk about. We could park inside the premises, but we had a Fiat 500. If you are driving a big car or if there are many guests, you may have to park outside, but there’s plenty of space in front of the hotel.
I want to thank the owners for their hospitality, I highly recommend this place located only 10 minutes away from the historical Bascarscija center. Sretan put and hvala!
Ps: the breakfast is basic but delicious, open from 7:30-9. The French toast is to die for.

Every time I travel to Sarajevo I have to stay at Villa Una. The hotel is run by the sweetest couple and they always make my stay 1000% more enjoyable. The home-cooked breakfasts are to die for and I can always count on walking into a clean bed and room after a long day of exploring. There’s no better place in the city to spend your nights, than at this hotel. I can always look forward to my next stay in Sarajevo.

- the room was a bit too small
- the main staff didn't speak English but their son did and was helpful
- while booking the room was Characterized as one with a balcony but in reality, it didn't have a balcony
- I had asked for a queen bed in my reservation but received twin beds and had to ask again to receive a larger bed
- no air conditioning
- the coffee wasn't so good, was a bit cold and didn't taste great

The only thing I liked was the location. The city centre was within arms reach. Kind hosts but a bit distant.
I didn't like the narrow road reaching the accommodation, its not suitable for bigger cars (the left rear view mirror was destroyed due to this narrow path). Originally I asked the host if there is a parking, and I was told there is, but didn't fit our car, so we had to search for another parking which was unplanned expense for us.
The room was very small and the price is too high for such accommodation. The breakfast was very poor and lacked diversification. We had to eat whatever the hosts would serve.

Excellently located in regards to access to city center. Free parking when you can make through the very narrow street to Villa Una. I also got some electricity for my BEV!
The smaller and cheaper rooms are really tiny, but there are bigger rooms also available.

Very good trip in this villa offering few different rooms with exeptionnal view in the roof of sarajevo.

I think they should provide better variety choices , also in the room should have real air conditioner not a fan it was so hot during the night and the fan was not able to meet the temperature.
The fan in the room was not big enough
