Perhaps the most important was how friendly and helpful the staff were. The room was very clean and comfortable and the position couldn't be better. The breakfast was excellent. All round a great hotel. Sure would stay again.
A kettle or coffee maker would have been good. Also in summer a fridge is essential. Neither of these two were available but the plus points outwayed these negatives.

A little haven in the old town. The little hotel is nicely decorated, room and bathroom is clean and comfortable. Location is very close to all the old town attractions
The lift was not working during my stay. A little tricky to climb to limb with heavy luggage bags as it is a spiral staircase. No kettle in the room to boil hot water.

The highlight is the staff. They are friendly, gentle, helpful and kind, making it a great experience not just a good place for sleeping. Besides that, breakfast was amazing, the location is perfect, the bed is comfortable, the decoration is beautiful and cozy. A great place to stay for sure.

I just cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Apart from being a beautiful, small boutique hotel with clean and beautifully decorated rooms, it was extremely well located on the edge of the old town close to the Latin Bridge. I would like to particularly comment on the staff who were warm, courteous, cheerful and helpful from the moment we arrived and met our airport transfer. The breakfasts were fabulous and the cafe where breakfast was served was such a lovely setting and very relaxing. We returned home today and I miss Sarajevo already. I would love to return one day and would not hesitate to book this hotel again. Thank you for your hospitality Hotel Malo Duse.

The location couldn't have been more central, it's literally in the heart of the old town. The breakfast was breathtaking, we felt like royals: it was served on the 3-tier tray and you could choose from different choices, yummy!I am a sucker for the Bosnian ethnic furnitures and carpets, so I also loved the visuals of our cosy, clean, little room. The staff was warm and wellcoming.
I was a bit dubious about the funky lift, but absolutely no problems there.
