The staff were friendly but didn't speak much English; the apartment was dated but that didn't bother us as this was primarily a base for exploring the city and beyond. Sarajevo itself was wonderful and excellent value for money, as was the apartment.It was up a steep hill from the main town centre but we enjoyed the exercise even in the heat!
Although there were two showers between the four rooms, only one of them was wall-mounted. Fixing that would have made a significant difference. Kitchen could have done with more lighting

Old hotel with character, quiet, nice owner
I guess many places in Sarajevo allow smokers, so hotel smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Owner was nice guy, but only on first day gave me written receipt. This made it hard to remember which days Id paid for, as I kept extending, which is my habit.

Very friendly host who really went out of his way to make sure we were provided for. At 4:45AM, when no taxis were available, he turned taxi driver and took my friend to the airport! Hotel is comfortable, clean, and a good distance from the centre of town, up on a pleasant hill overlooking the action.
This is a budget hotel, more of a hostel in some ways, with shared bathrooms. The price reflects this. Anyone looking for luxury should up their price bracket.

Owners are very kind and helping. Very good wifi. Nice location, quiet and close to the city centre. Air conditioning in the room.

I liked personel.
1) It was up a steep hill. Very difficult to get up there if not good hiker.
2) bath only had cold water
3) AC wasnt working
4) Sharing bathroom is okay, if everyone behaves decent. Not the case here...
5) payment only with card is frustrating...
6) WIFI wasnt working well

Absolutely nothing. Maybe the slope from the center to the hotel, it gets a bit heavy if you do it several times, but it's only a 10-15 minute walk (besides, this whole area of Sarajevo is like that to being located in a valley).
