Clean, location, staff, other travelers. Its like going to a uncles house and hang out with your cousins. Its so welcoming. Felt safe, welcomed, and staff more then willing to help. Thats no words to describe how amazing this hostel is. Was supposed to be a day trip ended up being 4 days because of this hostel. Chill out spacious a great to meet people and we even had group sharing meals. Met great people. Loved the room I was in with sun roof and it was slightly raining making it great for sleep and good rest. Good showers with hot water and very clean.

Had a great time chatting to other travellers and met some cool characters. Really great location too, right by the old town. This is niche but there's also a spot outside with wifi; really great if you want to call someone but have run out of data.
My one tiny complaint was that the common space was a bit small/noisy so not ideal for reading/journaling/studying etc. This is silly though, I could've just gone to a cafe.

-Volunteers and owner were friendly
There was a very aggresive guy at reception (I believe his name was Dean) who was extremely rude to me and my friend just cause we were waiting at reception for a while cause there was no one there. We did see him pass by a few times arguing with 2 guys ( who we later found out they were volunteers) but we didnt know he worked at reception. He then came and was like did you need something and we were like, yes, so he tells us ' well why don't you say something ' in a hostile and agressive tone and remained that way throughout the interaction I was so shocked.
I'm amazed someone that hostile works with other people.
