Wonderful
I know the Halvat guesthouse very well and have reviewed it favourably in the past. It is highly recommended in the Bradt Guide to Bosnia-Herzegovina. It is a very popular place. I had a highly enjoyable stay for what was my last night in Sarajevo. The Halvat is very close to all the main attractions. For eating I again recommend Pod Lipom and Inat Kuca.

The hostess Valida gave us a very warm welcome. We immediately felt very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional. There were Bosnian specialties and other dishes. The rooms are cozy and very clean. From the hotel you can get to the old town very quickly and many restaurants, supermarkets and sights are nearby. Valida knows everything about Sarajevo and can really answer any question and give lots of tips. I would recommend it to everyone and come back to Guesthouse Halvat.

The Halvat has a superb reputation and it is totally justified. Nice comment in the Bradt Guide to Bosnia Herzegovina. Lovely to go back after ten years and see everything is as enjoyable as before. A lovely place all round. Very nice owner. Could not recommend more highly if you want to get the best out of a visit to Sarajevo. Good restaurants nearby are Inat Kuca and Pod Lipom. Place to visit is Vrele Bosne Park. Also pleased with cable car being back in action. Anyway, I liked everything !

The location was very good, really in the heart of Old town. The owner was very nice and friendly. She prepared delicious breakfast based on our request. You will feel there as home.

Helpful personal, location is very close to old center - a one minute walk. Good atmosphere, clean, well equipped bathroom, balcony etc. You feel like king in this room.

Great hotel,great location and rooms are awesome. The host is so kind and welcoming that you will feel at home. Spacious,clean rooms,parking spot and pet friendly hotel made my stay at this hotel a dream visit of Sarajevo. Breakfast was awesome and i would recomment it highly if you stay. The exceptionally warm welcome! Valida is a fabulous host and really looks after her guests. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful.
The property is well located - close to pigeon square but nice and quiet too. Its very clean and comfortable and the room I had was a generous size.
