Considering that we were one of the cheated guests in Sarajevo this year (the first accommodation we booked didn't exist), We were happy that we got a hotel in the center that was available. The hotel itself in the heart of the city. The immediate vicinity of "Baarija" where everything happens. The receptionists are very friendly. The cleaners are nice.They cleaned our room every day. Upon arrival, we received a bag of coffee and a magnet of the city of Sarajevo. Very nice of them :)
The hotel needs a little refreshment. Visible signs of wear and tear. Our penthouse did not have the possibility to go to the terrace because the door is broken. We said twice if it was possible to do something, but unfortunately we didn't use the terrace until the end of our stay. If you already take the penthouse, you also expect to be able to go to the terrace. The heating is not the best, but they gave us a small radiator, which made it very difficult to warm up the entire apartment. Given that we paid almost 900 for the hotel for 4 days, we expected breakfast to be included in the price - but unfortunately it was not. We were very disappointed by this. breakfast is crucial. here, unfortunately, you lose in the reviews. Think carefully and add breakfast to the price. even if the price is higher.

Location was perfect. Everything I needed was close. Hotel looked clean and comfortable.
The bed was too hard to sleep on. There is no isolation room to hallway. I could hear every noise. No complimentary coffee in the room. Some things in the room were in poor condition. There were stains on the walls, stains on the wood furniture. Not good for the price I paid.

I stayed at City Boutique Hotel at the last minute due to canceled flights into Sarajevo and arriving too late to go to my other accommodation. I randomly booked it because they have a 24-hour front desk, not knowing anything about the location but I'm so glad I stayed here. It's quite central and walking distance to many cafes, shopping, Baarija, etc. Check-in was very easy and quick--the front desk person met me at the door and within a few minutes I was already in my room. There was a nice heater warming the room when I arrived which was very thoughtful because the next morning it was snowing. They are cash-only and I only had Euros on me but thankfully they take Euros too (I believe they accept BAM and EUR). However, there are many ATMs in the area so it's really not a concern. The bed was big and comfortable and there was a big wardrobe where I could hang my clothes.

This was not our first time in the hotel, which means that we liked it first time and decided to come back. It has excellent location, rooms are fine, as well as breakfast.
Still, this time it was a winter and the hotel did not have a proper heating, so we needed to ask for electric radiator to try to improve the situation. Furthemore, the parking which was included in the price during the summer now it was not, which was the extra charge of 15 EUR. Comparing value for money, we could choose better hotel for the final price we paid.
