Male shared bathroom needs a some hooks to hang clothes while using the bathroom.

Bathroom super tiny

Terrible wifi, the internet service itself kept cutting in and out. Rude male staff (the female staff were nice). Ants in the room (even though I had no food in there). Loud at night.

Got woken up by roosters at 5am. Non-stop roosters crowing. And I’m not a light sleeper. And the bathroom was very dingy. And I don’t have high standards at all. But mainly it’s the fact that I got woken up at 5am. Room was a former shipping container so no sound insulation.

It was lights out very early and no common area to hangout after they declared lights out at 11:30.

I don’t like that our luggage isn’t locked up or monitored by camera after we check out. What is stopping someone random from the street from coming in and taking our luggage?

They boasted that they had all of the cooking utensils in the kitchen yet there isn’t a single frying pan.

I have backpacked all around the world — staying in over 75 hostels and I have never been to a place with staff as aggressive as this or facilities as disgusting as this. I tried to message the property multiple times that I would be arriving early and they never responded. When I arrived, my taxi driver helped me carry my bags from the car and the woman working there yelled at me in Spanish for bringing an extra guest when it was just my taxi driver. Despite this being in Aruba, the workers speak no English or Dutch — only Spanish. The towel was filthy, my bed was covered in stains, and the walls in my room were covered in filth. There was no hot water, which it does not say in the description. There was hair and shavings all over the bathroom, and I know for a fact the room was vacated just minutes before I checked in. Everything smelled awful and the entire time I tried to sleep, I heard the workers chatting and watching TV in the living room. When I tried to leave, they tried to scam me! As I was walking out, a worker stopped me, telling me I hadn’t paid online (I had) and demanded $35 USD in cash from me. I had to argue with her and show her my bank statements showing I paid, and it wasn’t until I accused her of trying to scam me did she let me leave. At the end of this, she had the audacity to ask for a good review, so here’s your good review I guess. Please don’t book here, and especially please don’t let yourself get scammed as they will likely demand cash from you at checkout.

I just recommend to use less chlorine in the pool.

Extremely small, I’ve never booked a private room that was a twin bed before. Bathroom was also extremely small. Im only 5’3 and when sitting on the toilet my knees touched the wall uncomfortably. Bedding needs improvement. I booked this because other reviews said it was walkable, but I still needed to rent a car. For this price, considering that I still needed to rent a car, I would’ve went with another option. Wifi wasn’t reliable or fast. Luckily I bought data.

Outlets only at lower bunks in my dorm. Need extra long cord to charge phone from top bunk or not have phone on your bunk.

Cleanliness. Sheets and towels stained. Pool not cleaned. Poor communication with staff.

Water for taking a shower wasnt warm but it was fine as the weather is always hot and humid

The room I was in was the 4 bunk beds and it was full. Once everybody had their luggage out there was not much space, which was fine. What was less fine was I had the upper bunk which was very high, it was hard to go up and come down (with just the 3 steps vertical ladder) and the bed didn't have any guard rail (I was so stress to fall down). Also, no outlets or place to put your phone up there. If I go again I will be very careful to ask for the lower bad.
