I wish the swimming pool were cleaned more often, but it wasn’t a major issue for us.

A little off the beaten path, no sidewalks to get to property

We had relatives staying in a hotel nearby but it was a little far to walk along the busy road. Unfortunately, the road which the Aruba palms is located is fairly busy and we did not have a car.

Cleaned items are not removed timely from the laundry for ~24 hours. It would be helpful if you can put a sign to remind folks removing their items timely after the cycle is complete. Our room was still occupied when we checked in, but it was later resolved.

It was a little off the beaten path about a mile from all the restaurants and beach..I w as walked to and fro twice a day.. hard in the heat of the day.. there are taxis but I was short on $$ so I walked..

BEWARE - My experience with Aruba Palms Escape/Paulines Apartments AFTER MY STAY THIS WAS SENT: Dear Aruba Palms Escape Management, I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to you today to detail the significant issues I encountered during my stay in Room 1 from September 9-14, 2025. While your property is lovely, these recurring problems greatly diminished the quality of my vacation. Over the course of my 5-day stay, I faced a number of frustrating and unresolved issues: The television was non-functional for much of my stay, and while staff attempted to fix it, the problem persisted. An electrical box in the closet was generating excessive heat, which made the room uncomfortably warm. I discovered a coffee pot filled with molded grounds upon arrival, and a continuously beeping door keypad that I had to fix myself. There were holes in the closet ceiling that led to my clothes getting wet during a rain shower. The bathroom outlet tripped the breaker on my final day when I tried to use my hairdryer. My frustration was compounded by the fact that my repeated requests to be moved to another room were not acknowledged or addressed. The suggestion that I simply find a new place to stay was both unhelpful and inconsiderate, as it would have required me to waste a day of my vacation dealing with the inconvenience caused by these issues. I am requesting a 30% refund on my booking as compensation for the numerous problems and the lack of a proactive solution from management. I believe this is a fair amount, given the circumstances. Walking to the nearest beach was sometimes tricky. There are no sidewalks for about 7 minutes or so and the dirt path was uneven with holes and broken cement. At one point it was overgrown with weeds that forces one to go into the road.

We enjoyed it and it met our needs, but for those looking for a fancier resort-type atmosphere it might not.
