The food was various. In fact we were there from May 28 to May 30 in room 811. There was an issue when it rained as the room was leaking at the entrance of the bathroom. There was no other spare room. So we had to stay there. They did remember & we did appreciate the basket of fruits as compensation on our arrival in room 611 on jyly 29.
As nos. 811 & 611 have 2 bedrooms there should be another toilet. When we left we asked for a trolley & someone to help as we had 8 suitcases with 6 rather heavy. However there was only a trolley at the door & my wife who is 71 & a cousin, she is 68 had to load the suitcases. I am 75 & could not help as I had a back operation. It was also not easy to pull it in the corridor as it was heavily loaded & there was a tray with the rest of a dinner on the floor. On arrival we did load our suitcases from the car but the lady at the reception brought it to our room & unloaded it herself. When we arrived in May an employee did help us.

Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and large.
I was on crutches with no weight bearing on one leg. We opted for the disablity room 223 as it had more open shower and handrails. Unfortunately, the shower water run all over the bathroom floor and I had to call my partner out of bed to use a towel to try and stop the water from entering the carpeted area (main entrance passage). I could only have a quick 30 second shower and so could my partner. I had to get off my crutches and knee down on the floor to prevent the water from going into the main entrance passage also. Once the showers were completed, I could not enter the bathroom with my crutches as the whole floor was wet and slippery. This meant that I could not shave, brush teeth or anything in the bathroom whatsoever. I could see that around the shower area, there once was some sort of barrier, but it had all been removed. I should have got a normal room. I had to leave the hotel with basic shower, no hair being done, no teeth brushing and no shaving. Total disaster.

Location was great for where we needed to be. The restaurant Jack & Ivy was fantastic. Buffet breakfast was sensational. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
The street noise was very audible but nothing they can really do about that.

Short walking distance to tourist bus stop, and great restaurants and shopping malls.
