Wonderful
Walking distance to beach, marina and shops. Lovely pool where you could always find a shady spot. Friendly, helpful staff. Two bedroom unit was quiet and well equipped.

Where it was located.
The fact it didnt have a lift. As I injured myself half way in our holidays and I had to use crutches. Going up the stairs. I wasnt too happy at all.

Absolutely loved the resort style, found it very beautiful and felt very cool and comfortable in the warmth. We were very surprised to have memory foam pillows and mattresses too, in our smartly designed two bedroom apartment. I had a double bed to myself in a very well air conditioned room with window shutters that were very good at keeping out light and keeping the cool in, found them to be a beautiful addition to the style. We had a group of three girls, and had the most wonderful time whenever we were in our accomodation and honestly were tempted not to leave at times, particularly with the pool set up including pool noodles and ball. A bonus being that we found a walkway to the beach not far at all from the back exit! Had a lovely little sunset beach walk to finish of our girls trip.
We did notice that sound does echo around the place a little bit, which at times was very noticeable but it wasnt a problem for us. The kitchen was very small but had everything we needed, very well stocked but highly recommend only one person cooking a simple meal at a time!

The location was great, it suited our needs for what we needed at the time.
The beds were not comfortable at all, had broken sleep most of the time we were there.

The location was an excellent location for 4 mile beach and hustle of Macrossen st.

The location was great - close to the beach and surf club for safe swimming, which also has a great restaurant. About a 1km walk into town. The resort has a nice pool to swim in. Apartment was quite spacious and had everything we needed.
Several fixtures needed repairing or replacing.

The location to the beach and the main street was good. The pool was great as well. The price was reasonable but in comparison could have got more for the money. There is a lot to do in Port Douglas so if you don't spend much time in the room, this is a great option.
The dishwasher didn't work the whole time, there were no supplies you had to purchase all condiments etc from scratch, ususally there is something left over in the room. The lounge wasn't big enough to comfortably seat the four of us. There was hole in the door that was just covered over with paper and they didn't service/ change my daugthers bed because there was a bag left on it We were also in the front tower that was very noisy.

There are no lifts. Was tedious to carry luggage to higher floors. Staff wasn't courteous. Pool wasn't clean.

The pool area of course is the highlight of the property. Pool toys provided so that was appreciated.
Room Accommodated for 5 people.
Had kitchen with cups plates etc.
Staff friendly & communicated well.
Issues promptly fixed.
Pool spa was colder than the pool, not warm, so my expectation was off there.
Had a fold out bed in the room which we had to make up (fine) but the old bed sheets from who knows when were left on there, unfolded sofa bed full of crumbs and a dirty scrunched up tissue. Again, easy fix by ourselves but shouldnt have been like that. Didnt bother to communicate because had a holiday to be on.
Said level 2 during check in, really was level 3. So.many.stairs!
I shouldve requested lower floor as other reviews have said, shocking echoing stairs.
Fans & air con didnt work in the rooms, the air con was fixed next day promptly when I communicated this but again, added to the vibe of the holiday not going smoothly.
$6 per load of washing FYI & laundry in basement was a walk to get to from our room in the other tower and the stairs so didnt bother.
Tv a pain operate if you dont know kogan/andriod but thanks to whoever left their Netflix account signed in.
The shower/bathroom set up was a bath/shower so the water just basically spills onto the bathroom counter, important to note which bathroom style you would like when staying as theres different photos so dont know which one youll get if you dont ask I guess. Again, added to the vibe of holiday being less than standard over a bit of comfort.
Parking options are limited, parked on the street most of the time except once actually. Not a bother, but it is after a long day out & about & three flights of stairs to walk up after a walk down the street too.
