The kids liked the pool and surrounds, it was nice and quiet and peaceful, we requested a room overlooking the pool and the hosts kindly provided this. Great airconditioning in the rooms. If you are looking for family friendly, low key holiday accommodation without any frills this is your place.
We didn't realise just how self-catered it was, I'm sure it wouldn't take much to provide a couple more tea towels or loo rolls, or even just having a mop head that works to help keep it tidy.

Double bed was two singles pushed together with a definitive "ridge". Apart from that, was exactly what I expected for the price point in Port Douglas

Wonderful
Fantastic set up for our family. Everything we needed. Was relaxing and quiet. Kitchen was well equipped. Comfortable rooms and the garden was beautiful. Kids loved the pool, awesome to have BBQ right there.

The kids just loved their room and the pool. This resort is away from the port douglas city, and neighborhood is very dark and quiet. it's super close to the 4 mile beach which is just lovely. parking is just below the unit and very convenient. I do recommend to be with a car there.
The unit itself is fully utilized and beds are good.

The apartment was spacious, clean and well presented.
Very peaceful with no noise transferred from neighbouring apartments.
Several cafe/restaurant & bottle shop options and beach were all within an easy walking distance.
Our apartment's main bedroom's ceiling fan and aircon were both quite noisy in operation so couldn't be used while sleeping.
Crossing the quite steep gutter to park in our apartment's designated carpark was a concern for our 2 x motorcycles access/egress.

Pool, open floor plan, large balcony, very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, foliage everywhere, private stairs and door access, close to many activities and the beach

had bbq facilities, amazing large pool,
kettle and microwave didn't work first day had to be replaced which was done quickly but the fridge felt like it wasn't keeping food cold at all.
also had to pay extra $10 for tennis rackets

I like that the apartments felt very secluded and quiet.
Dryer wasn’t working properly. It would only dry 1 piece of clothing if you were lucky. Motel staff took our washing to another apartment and dried it for us, but was super inconvenient because we still had more washing to dry after that.
Also the screen back door was very hard to lock and the glass door didn’t lock at all

The resort would be great for families. Pool and bbq area were great. Spacious apartment and covered parking outside your apartment.
The apartment was very tired and in need of Maintenance. The shower head was broken, the kitchen utensils etc were very eclectic. No sharp knives or bread knife, only a few dinners plates, but lots of random things we didn’t need.

Good layout of unit and property easy to access
No air con in the lounge room and outside verandah and furniture were very dirty.
