Wonderful
Great location and beautiful, Queenslander style rooms. Surprisingly quiet, considering the hotel is right in the centre of town and surrounded by pubs and restaurants.
Staffed check in finishes at 1600, so there is some messing around to call up, obtain keys and check in. Staff were helpful enough over the phone so not a major issue.

location fabulous though could hear pub at night but could close doors and didnt bother us. Room very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning and fans worked well.
no privacy to bathroom it was big but no door. Shutters are not sufficient. pool very sad small unloved.

Excellent location close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Quick response when we checked in. Free undercover parking.
The room was very small. The room size is mentioned on the website but it is VERY small, and at nearly $300 a night not good value. Particularly as the rooms are not serviced daily, and there was no-one in reception the entire time we stayed. Also note there are no lifts bar a small luggage lift, so three flights of stairs from the car park to the top floor. Beware if you have big heavy bags! There was a bit of noise from the pub next door but nothing too late.

The location.
The bedroom was too small for the totally oversized bed. One of us didnt have a bedside table and there was nowhere for both of us to sit and no comfortable chairs outside our room. There was no window to open to get fresh air.

Perfect location
Stairs, louvre door in bathroom allows sounds and smells to come into bedroom. Should be solid door. Reception closed at 4pm - should be at least 5.30pm

Location was excellent. In the middle of town
Minor maintenance on fixtures and fittings needed attention.
Baggage lift was out of order but staff assisted with baggage. There is no passenger lift.
