There’s plenty of relaxing to do onsite with 4 outdoor lagoon pools, spas, cabanas and BBQ areas. If that’s not enough, room offerings include private balconies with spas and some have their own swim-out pool deck too! Cook up a feast in your self-contained kitchen, or step outside onto Macrossan Street – the main dining hub of Port Douglas. Whenever you choose to visit, Mantra Aqueous on Port is ready to welcome you. ROAD WORKS AND HIGHWAY CLOSURE: Due to necessary road repairs, a section of the Captain Cook Highway between the Rex Lookout and Turtle Cove, Wangetti, will be closed to all traffic from 15 May - 22 July 2024 between 9pm - 4am, weather and construction conditions permitting. Traffic will be let through the roadworks site from both ends at 11pm and 1.30am. Full closures will occur on the nights of Sunday 19 May and Monday 20 May where the scope of works will mean traffic CANNOT be let through. The Department of Transport and Main Roads anticipates further full closure dates may be required. The dates of full closures are dependent on progress of works, weather, materials supply, and construction conditions. No night works will occur on the following dates: 24 May - 26 May – Road will remain open for Port Douglas Carnivale1 June, 8 June, 15 June (Road will remain open to allow access ahead of the Ironman event), 16 June (Changed traffic conditions and closures will be in place.) Works will resume 17 June, 22 June, 29 June and 6 July 2024.

Absolutely beautiful place! We loved everything about it; the location, the pool, the spa, the staff! It was all so lovely! Easy access to get in and out of! We were allowed to leave our car in the car park after our check out which we were so very grateful for. We will be back!

Would have liked a softer pillow with the firmer one instead of 2 the same. After using the complimentary coffee pods I would have been happy to pay for 2 more. Instead I was told that you only sell them by the box...said without a smile.

Room was clean and tidy. Nice little touches like nescafe coffee machine and towels for the pool and spa. Staff we lovely on check in check out. Location was perfect being right in town. Short stroll to everything you need. Lovely little note left for my partners birthday message.
The bedroom louvres don't block noise like a normal window, which means you hear everything from outside. I really wanted to love the bed as it was huge, but it was like a slab it was so hard. Pillows weren't much better so I used to couch cushions. Think for the price I'll try other options around the area next time.

The spa on the balcony is the BEST THING THATS EVER HAPPENED TO ME! The second best thing was our own access to the pool via our own pool deck. Our apartment was clean and well appointed. The staff were lovely and very helpful. It is a stones throw from the Main Street of Port Douglas.
The kitchen and bathroom were quite dated but very clean. Appliances all in good working order. The absence of any food service made it necessary to frequent the shops regularly.

The hotel was in a great location, walking distance to everything you need in Port Douglas including 4 mile beach and loads of restaurants.
Our room wasnt cleaned during our stay. It wasnt a massive issue as we were only there for 3 night but being a beach location, there was quite a lot of sand on the floor the was accumulated during our stay which was a bit annoying.
