Wonderful
The manager upgraded our room from a studio to a one bedroom which was very nice. The apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The apartment does not have laundry in the unit but a washer/dryer are available in the complex for free use. The property is compact and surrounds a small nicely landscaped swimming pool. The onsite manager was always quickly available by phone to assist with any questions. The apartment is in a quiet area about a 10 minute drive from the centre of Port Douglas. Two bar/restaurants are in walking distance. Also the beach is a 5 minute walk from the apartment. We enjoyed our stay and thought it was good value for our money.
The only issue was that the free internet offered by the complex did not reach our unit. We had to walk around outside to find a signal which made it difficult for my wife to use her laptop for work.

Spacious apartment, perfect for a couple. Excellent facilities. Quiet location just a short walk to a stunning beach and a short drive to the marina for trips to the Great Barrier Reef.

It had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant! The beach is really close. We stayed 6 days there and loved it! John, the host was really helpful as well.

The manager was nice and even helped me up the stairs with my bag! The room suited what I needed but was a little outdated. I think they might have been progressively doing the rooms up. It had stove and fridge, with plates etc. Was fitted with ceiling fans which was fantastic as well as A/C. Nice shower always hot. Was great to come back to after a day of adventures. The property itself was nice and quiet with most guests out and about or quietly relaxing. Plenty of chatty birds around and nice small pool area with deck chairs to sit on if you wanted to.
Unfortunately microwave was in bottom cupboard not plugged in and looked about 10yo so was not willing to try it.
The place where you wait out the front for shuttle buses is in the blazing hot sun with no cover all afternoon though there was wooden seat. Or you wait across the road, in the blazing sun, outside the local pub where everyone is enjoying a nice cool beer.

Great location very close to the beach in a pleasant environment with a lovely pool. Easy access and nicely furnished with a small private balcony surrounded by tropical garden and birdsong. A very short walk to the Beach Shack open from breakfast to dinner.
We stayed for a week so we didn't want to eat out every meal. The tiny bar fridge and lack of kitchenware like bowls and storage containers was a nuisance. Not even an ice cube tray. The bed wasn't very comfortable either.

It felt like a motel. Park. Check inand that's that. It overlooks a residential house from where was a little noise and opposite a kind of hotel pub with loud music. It just didn't feel good.
Par.kibg was awkward, WiFi didn't work and took 24 hours to respond. Still didn't work in our room. Small things but they matter

We enjoyed our eight nights in this colourful property. Comfortable beds and furnishings, friendly owner, lovely pool area and beautiful garden. Kitchen well equipped for meals.
One minute walk away from Four Mile beach-palm trees lining the walk to beach-absolutely beautiful.

Very Good
Quiet, convenient, close to the beach and very comfortable.
Comfortable bed, reasonable shower, equipped kitchen, nice sitting space.
A few km to McCrossan St area.
Nothing major negative. The pillows certainly could be improved. The car spaces were narrow, so just had to be careful with the wide hire car!
