Ceiling fan in Master Bedroom not clearly marked and the unmarked switch on the wall had been turned off so took awhile to work it out. Then found it too noisy to sleep with.

The view from the apartment was spectacular! And mostly the reason we booked to stay here. There was also a kitchen and washing machine which was perfect for a family stay. With two children, a boy and a girl, it always annoys me that often family rooms have two double beds, but this apartment had a master bedroom (with ensuite) and a second room with two single beds. There was also free secure parking and free wifi. (No limits that we noticed) The pool was heated, which was lovely in May. Nice and clean too. Theme parks are all within 20-30mins drive. Shops about 12-15 walk away. Sandy beach and playground also about 10-15 mins walk away.
We had a gorgeous big balcony, but the road noise outside seemed to bounce off the balcony ceiling and walls making it louder than it was. Not a problem really, but something that took a little away from the spectacular view and relaxation. The apartments also have a mix of holiday guests, long term rental tenants and owners. This was evident with the list of 'do and don'ts' around the building... think typical HOA. It was ok, but we were aware of being especially considerate around the pool. They could have also stocked us with more toilet paper, dishwasher tabs, laundry detergent and dish washing liquid. More than one tea-towel was needed too. We did take our own from the other reviews we had read, but I did feel when you're paying thousands for a couple of weeks, the least they could do is give you more than 1 sachet every 4 or 5 days. We also ended up having to buy our own toilet paper. We asked reception and they said what's there is a 'starter pack' and it's our responsibility to buy more.
