Location. Cleanliness. Facilities.
Washing and drying facilities, although being provided was excellent, were pricey.
Lift access very slow during busing periods.
Parking at AUD$30 per night was excessive and was not made clear at the time of booking that it was an additional charge.

GREAT LOCATION , WILL USE AGAIN , I traveled from Maryborough to spring hill to go to the ACDC concert at suncorp stadium with a mate of 50 years , were getting old now and are not as mobile so a great location .

great location, friendly staff and the room was big enough for the three of us. the staff also created another bed and made it up for us which was fantastic. Had all amenities in the room.
nothing really, except the shower leaked and was tiny but it was adequate. The pool looked very grimey so we didnt go near it.

The room and facilities supplied were very good. Staff were very good, and the location was ok once we figured out the transport options.
Misleading listing. A restaurant was high on our list of priorities, and we specifically booked with you because you advertised you had one - you don't! A cafe that only opens for breakfast and lunch, closed by 2 p.m. every day is not even close. - we feel misled and very disappointed.

Very central - just a short walk or free bus ride to city centre. Our room was comparable with that of more expensive hotels with a few provisos.
Servicing of our room was poor. Although towels were changed three times over a 10 day stay, bedding and was not changed at all, and neither was tea towels. Unfortunately I had a bleeding elbow that soiled bed sheets and it would have been nice not to have subjected my wife to this. Further, over the 9-day stay I had occasion to recover items from the floor and to my dismay I found a sock - not mine, and a drinking straw - also not ours. When we asked why our room was not serviced at day 5 we were told that it was because we had a "do not disturb" sign out - not true. We were then told we would get a full service "tomorrow" - didn't happen. Don't get me wrong - it was no worse than living at home but it did spoil the experience slightly.

Unfortunately the service I received was poor. When the power went out in my room at 9.30pm I was shifted to another room (after having been asked to try and locate the power box which was locked in the corridor) but had to key my own card to the new room as they couldn't get hold of management after hours. There was a token apology by one staff member and the staff member the next morning almost implied it was my fault. For the amount of money paid for the room it fell very short of expectations.

The room was nice, not too small for the three of us, the room was very clean. The bathroom was lovely and clean with nice amenities and a very cute canvas of a drawing from a local kid. Randomly close to a fantastic chocolate shop and central station.
The walls were quite thin, I could hear people wondering around on the floor above us at all hours. I could also hear sirens all the time. As it's located on a hill, dragging our luggage up from central station was a bit of a mission. The pool needs a bit of a clean up. But the worst was something that happened on our second night, we noticed a slight burning smell and couldn't figure it out, then it increased and we got a bit anxious so called the 24 hour phone help line and the manager wasn't concerned and just told us to call the fire station if it gets worse as they couldn't move us. We didn't really appreciate the lack of assistance. We finally figured out that it was the lamp in the room and unplugged it and moved it to the kitchen. After an hour or so we tried to go back to sleep but the whole experience kind of soured the end of our trip. I wouldn't recommend for families either, the unmistakable smell of weed was in the hallways and lots of people drinking in other rooms plus the area was a bit weird at night.

Points of contention are 1) the bathroom door did not reach the floor, meaning that going to the bathroom was not private, 2) the walls were dirty and not clean and 3) the furniture was old and damaged.

Restocking of basic milk and tea bags, when I arrived there were dishes in the dishwasher. While there is cooking amenities, there was no oil or salt and pepper.

Very Good
Great location, near the city centre with good pubic transport options. Helpful staff, generous size rooms and good facilities. I would stay again.
There is only one lift so it can be a slow process getting up and down. I used the stairs, and noticed they coukd have been a bit cleaner. Some more hooks and/or hanging space in the room would have been good.
