It was dirty, deteriorating badly, musty, felt very unclean. I have photos of mould, rubbish beside the fridge, previous guests rubbish, broken furniture, rusty glass frame in shower, the staff at breakfast were terrible.

Convenient central location for my daughter, husband and grandson. Good available facilities. Great shower, cosmetics and towels.
My daughter was upset that the oven had not been cleaned. As soon as it was mentioned it was attended to.

The easy access room 314 was spacious, clean and comfortable. Little extras like complementary tea bags and milk in the fridge made it special. The hand and body wash products smell heavenly. Lovely fluffy white towels too. I paid for breakfasts which are of excellent quality and good value. South Bank is an excellent central place to stay for a family reunion with my UK and Australian daughters.
I can't think of anything negative except the sink next to the kettle/tea making needed a drop of bleach.

Location was perfect for my event. The entrance upon arriving is a bit crazy but then realised they had parking service etc made more sense.
Air con worked great.
Bed was comfy.
Staff were awesome
It needs a good vaccuum along the edges of the main carpet hallway leading to rooms…visible dust also inside the room the chair legs etc was caked in dust .. FV cabinet under shelf..
and the curtains are not practical at all
