Wonderful
Easy walking distance to the Woolworths and other grocers if you prefer to self-cater. The room has plates, cutlery and cups, There's also an in-room microwave oven. If you'd rather someone else do the cooking, there's several Indian restaurants within walking distance. Sankalp is good. Prefer something more exotic? Take bus no. 125 to Mooroka (just a few stops!) and you'll be in the Horn of Africa, culinary-wise. Take bus no. 100 toward Brisbane CBD again and it's a whole 'nother world of dining again. Danielle and Pete are excellent hosts - you're in good hands. If you like cats they have cute ones (the kitties stay in the reception area mostly)!
I only stayed a week! I should have taken up on Danielle and Pete's offer to book in another week.

Hotel had everything you need (plates, microwave, pool etc) and nothing you don't. Reception staff left their office to welcome us when we arrived. Old style hospitality.

Pete and Danielle, the hosts, were really friendly and were kind to our granddaughter. It made it feel like staying with relatives. For anyone travelling with young children this place is special. Loved it.

The host is super friendly and cook delicious steak for us on special request.
The hotel is near to hospital and quite frequent to hear the sirens even late at night.

Location to Hospital.
Proximity to places to eat.
Sociable and helpful managers/owners.
The shower and bathroom floor need a very good clean.
Missing light shade
Freezer door missing from the fridge resulting in a large build up of ice and the condenser constantly cutting in.

Good location, eateries and supermarket nearby. Hosts Pete and Dianelle are friendly, accommodating and went out of their way to help us with our requests. Basic but overall a great place to stay
Occasional sirens can be heard but we are fine with it

It's very close to the Brisbane city and if you need to buy some groceries, Woolworths is at walking distance...
There is a subway and Hungry Jack's at walking distance.. Like next to the hotel...
