Pete & Danielle are amazing hosts and the rooms are well kept, clean and tidy. Tea & coffee making facilities, fridge, microwave, great bed, lounge, etc with the added bonus of a pool & garden. It's a pleasure staying there, obviously, not 5 star but I'd rather stay here with such lovely people regardless. everything you need for a great stay.

Easy walking distance to the Woolworths and other grocers if you prefer to self-cater. The room has plates, cutlery and cups, There's also an in-room microwave oven. If you'd rather someone else do the cooking, there's several Indian restaurants within walking distance. Sankalp is good. Prefer something more exotic? Take bus no. 125 to Mooroka (just a few stops!) and you'll be in the Horn of Africa, culinary-wise. Take bus no. 100 toward Brisbane CBD again and it's a whole 'nother world of dining again. Danielle and Pete are excellent hosts - you're in good hands. If you like cats they have cute ones (the kitties stay in the reception area mostly)!
I only stayed a week! I should have taken up on Danielle and Pete's offer to book in another week.

Got a text message before I left saying where my room was and how to park if they were not there Smoking (I know, I now) area was on the grass outside and as it was hotel Pete came out to tell me there was a better undercover one upstairs which was appreciated. Small balcony outside and NO smoking which is great for the nonsmokers in the next rooms Bed was comfy Pillows were comfy Shame I was there for a hospital appointment and not leisure It had a toaster too which you don't see these days Subway, Hungry Jacks and an Indian 2 mins walk Oh and it had a power board next to the bed so you can plug in more than one plug to charge things
Errrrm that I couldn't smoke directly outside my room or on the balcony but that's me being selfish
