Somewhat Close to airport
When we arrived around 8 pm after a flight the room was extremely hot with no AC on at all although we had already prepaid for the night. The rooms were so warm that the single AC unit could not cool down the two bedrooms that had zero AC. One bedroom faces away from the ac direction of flow and one is down a hallway. I got so warm that I vomited and my husband couldn’t fall asleep till 1 am due to the extreme heat. If you have guests coming in that have already prepaid for the night the least the cleaning staff or front desk staff could do is turn the air conditioning on to low so that the room is not heat soaked when they arrive. There’s nothing worse than coming into a hot hotel room and having inadequate air conditioning to cool it down in a timely manner. It was still hot till 1-2 am 5-6 hrs after arrival. The kitchen looked like it had been somewhat updated recently. Both the bedrooms and the bathroom looked severely outdated and cheap. The bed was not comfortable and had a cheap thin bed spread that was not a real blanket but looked like a thin satin like material but we kicked it off we were so hot. The bathroom had really old stained floor tiles and looked very run down. The laundry had a roach or bug trap sitting on top of it. There is no front pull in area to the apartments for Ubers so you have to drag your bags up a big hill and then you have to lug your bags up several steps to get to the elevator so I would say this place is not friendly to people that have mobility issues. You also have to step up to go into the bathroom, and the lobby area. when you come in it looks very old and rundown in the hallways and the elevator and are also not air-conditioned. Brisbane is really too hot and tropical of an area to not have air-conditioning in the main parts of the building and also not very have the air conditioning turned on even if it’s just on a low setting for customers when they come in for the night.

Location was near airport. Apartment with two bedrooms as we were travelling with my 92-year-old mother. Please premise had lift. Clean and tidy.
Dodgy neighbourhood. Hard to lock doors and windows securely - only door handle lock on front door which was filmsy. Lobby was very shabby with carpet worn through on steps.
