service was good and staff were friendly. was a great location with lots of little food shops nearby and the bus station being a 5min walk away
The king double bed was 2 double beds put together which made the middle of the be uncomfortable. Not having a remote for the aircon, could only adjust it on the wall.

Next to food providers both restaurants and food mart/ newsagents, refurbed pub. Short 200m walk to bus station, chemist, McDonald’s and subway. So convenient to the mater hospital and great coffee shop.
I sleep well but if you’re a light sleeper ambulances occasionally drive past all hours.

Clean room. Elevators had dirty floors where something had been dropped or spilt. Room was in great condition with air con already on. Hotel close to all my requirements.
Carpark was almost full at 2pm check in time. Hard to find room to park. A bit disappointed with this. I assumed all cars parked int the area were not guest of the hotel. Again, bit disappointed.

On arrival we were told we’d been upgraded to a family room which was a lovely surprise.
All staff were friendly and obliging.
We were pleasantly surprised by the ‘extras’ e.g. fresh apples on the reception counter and tea and coffee making facilities in the foyer and the option of a buffet breakfast.
We will visit again and recommend Hotel Diana to our friends.

The property was 200 meters away from the Queensland children’s hospital which was really convenient as we were in Brisbane for Medical reasons. The parking was free and to the rear of the hotel which is accessed via a boom gate.
There were so many restaurants downstairs in the plaza that we were overwhelmed with choices. There is Pizza, Burgers, fish n chips, Korean buffet, Thai, Ramen and an Asian cuisine restaurant. It also has a small convenience store. There is a Vietnamese bakery which was great to get coffee and pastries from also. These places do close at about 8:30pm although the Asian Kitchen restaurant and Korean Buffet seems to stay open a bit later. There were also a couple of other restaurants and cafes on the Main Street near the main entrance of the hotel.
There’s a free coffee machine in reception and filtered cold water to help yourself to. The laundry is tap and pay $5 per load but the dryer is free and it’s 24hrs.
The breakfast buffet is really cheap $25 per person with free tea and coffee from the coffee machine but there is barista coffee for a small additional charge.
The staff were also super friendly and it has a 24hr reception.
The room we stayed in was a typical sized hotel room with split king singles. Bathroom was good with a large shower.
They had a little fridge and coffee station area with a desk and 2 sofa chairs with a coffee table. The beds were very comfortable with 2 fluffy pillows each. The blackout curtains were great.
This hotel is great value for money.
