We stayed at the Duxton for our wedding anniversary in January 2026, and were upgraded to a river view room, there was also complimentary snacks and a bottle of bubbly left in the minibar which was much appreciated! The bed and pillows were super comfy and the aircon in the room was perfect!
Not a fault of the hotel. But we opted to park down the street, rather than the valet and someone went through our car in the night. It's an old hotel. Could probably do with a little glow up!

We got upgraded to a lovely room thanks to the seriously lovely night manager who was so kind and helpful when we arrived at 2am from our long haul flight. It made all the difference.

How much it cost to park the hire car. The whole city is ridiculous with parking. $7 an hour is the dearest in Australia. No wonder the city is like a ghost town!
