Disappointing
We recently stayed at The Langham Sydney and unfortunately it did not live up to expectations especially for a hotel at this price point. The biggest letdown was the breakfast. For a five star premium hotel charging around $750 per night the buffet was surprisingly underwhelming. The selection felt basic the quality did not impress and overall it was one of the most disappointing hotel breakfasts we have experienced despite extensive travel. More broadly the experience felt like it leaned heavily on brand and location rather than delivering true luxury. Compared to standout four star hotels in cities like London or Tokyo it simply does not measure up in terms of quality or attention to detail. The Langham name carries prestige but this stay did not reflect the ultra luxurious standard you would expect. A real miss particularly when it comes to the breakfast.

We were greeted by a charming young porter, Ayman, like we were old friends. He later cheerfully brought our bags to the room, a stylish & spacious junior suite overlooking Barangaroo and water views with a passing parade of ferries, jet cats & other craft. Super comfy beds with heavenly pillows were just the tonic. Full points to front desk staff - Zeke whose wit & professionalism was the perfect welcome while Jay eased our departure & chased down our errant cab. A perfect weekend break. We'll be back.
We informed housekeeping that our room could be now cleaned after we had overslept & not been ready when the initial housekeeper arrived. We were advised a supervisor would be informed but at day's end it was not done. No disaster as a late check provided us with fresh towels. We also had quite a delay with the cab service to the hotel. Admittedly it was early Monday morn but perhaps the provider may need some competition :)

The location was perfect for both the rocks and Barangaroo. The breakfast was delicious and the variety of items was amazing considering we arrived at the end of the sitting. The staff were very attentive, even late in the evening and the room was delightful. The spa is fabulous and again the staff were very attentive.
It would have been lovely to stay another day to really enjoy all the facilities but was a little pricey. I would love to go back again!

There is nothing bad about it. Maybe the breakfast could have little more varieties. But the breakfast was overall still very good.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service and well located at the top of the Rocks, near Barangaroo metro and restaurants. Room and facilities were stunning with small touches such as hotel branded Dyson hairdryers to make it feel really special. Everything was spot on.
Breakfast service was painfully slow when ordering items not part of the buffet and for coffee
