Good
Great breakfast menu with explanation for selection by very friendly and attentive staff.
Lift available although still had to negotiate steep stairs to reception and dining. Difficult when carrying suitcases although staff did offer assistance

Very Good
Quirky, clean, traditional, location, homely feel, friendly staff, great food
Lots of short flights of steps could make it awkward for the less able, but we were impressed by the staff, who were always available and willing to help. (Personally we found that aspect charming)

It’s location to the cruise terminal was perfect. Plenty of places to eat and the included breakfast was good
The internal stairs made moving large suitcases awkward

Poor
Lady @ Reception was THE most positive and helpful feature. Good lady, wonderful attitude and, were it not for her, we would have walked out once we saw our room, forgone the booking $$ and checked in elsewhere!
At 84, we found access/convenience/mobility and lack of room facilities (per normality in the majority of accommodation venues.......sooooo disappointing....!! I/we have been to The Rocks area before (from around 1966) and (professionally) do recognize the locational/marketing themes. So we'll just chalk it down to experience.

Good
Location was perfect given the proximity to the cbd and cruise terminal.
The hotel is a series of connecting buildings with stairs - lots of them and while and elevator takes you to level 1 and 2, there was 3 lots of stairs that we had to lug our suitcases up / down. Bit difficult for us with being older and mobility challenges. Also, the noise from outside carried on until midnight. I wouldn't choose to stay here again because if those issues.

It was great, a beautiful boutique hotel. Room was nice, breakfast was great, location was wonderful, right off Circle Quay. Staff were very personable. Water stations for filling water bottles. Lots of steps, beautiful wooden staircases.

Very Good
The property was in an excellent area for train from airport , ferries, bridge etc. Excellent breakfast, and staff were great.
Our room while not having any aircon was ok with ceiling fan but if it had been much hotter may have been uncomfortable. Had to keep windows open but unfortunately our room was above the deposit of bottles.
