Staff are friendly and fairly helpful. Amenities (pool deck and gym) are nice. The lobby is comfortable and stylish. The studio kitchenette and in-room laundry were great to have. The balcony was small but also very pleasant to sit out on. The layout of the suite (bedroom, seating area, small dining table, etc.) was useful and the room generally had a clean and stylish design. The suite had a whole wall (about 20ft) of floor to ceiling patio windows; the view wasn't amazing (just nearby rooftops) but pleasant enough. The room had great light.
* The room had a slightly musty smell.
* Those huge patio windows described above were quite filthy. The balcony glass (below the railing) was particularly gross. I ended up cleaning some of the main windows myself.
* We checked in at 8:30am but the room wasn't ready until 3pm sharp, not a second ahead of schedule.
* The desk attendant who held our baggage for us did *not* tell us that we could make ourselves comfortable and use the lounge and facilities until then, though they would (we later found out, from another attendant). Annoying -- we would have made better use of our day if we had known.
* Little things -- when we asked for our room cleaned, staff didn't empty the garbage in our kitchenette.
* Summarizing the above: service is more or less competent but not great.

Adina is located near Bondi Beach. Its convenient and well positioned to explore the area. It is also very noisy if you have a room facing the road. Luckily the insulation is excellent.

We have stayed here a few times and will continue to stay again and again whenever we come to Sydney. The space is beautiful, the location is perfect and the staff are so helpful. So great to have access to parking so close to the beach.

The ability to cook and not have to eat out is amazing when you are travelling for work. Also the Gym was great with the weather being bad with the rain. Hope you get the weight machine fixed soon.

This Adina is a great hotel in Bondi Beach. We moved around our dates of travel and happened to have ended up needing accommodations for the weekend of the Sydney Marathon. Most places were either fully booked or were exorbitantly expensive. Adina was able to provide that happy middle ground for us, price wise. We stayed in a Studio room. It was spacious enough for two people and had a balcony that overlooked the street below. The bathroom was nice and modern. The kitchenette was adequate. I do wish there were more than 2 sets of utensils and plates/bowls. Housekeeping staff were always prompt with any requests to top up our supplies. The location is convenient, with a plethora of cafes and restaurants outside your doorstep, and Bondi beach being about a 5-minute walk. The lobby was cute and the staff were always incredibly polite, especially Marina, who provided me with some tips regarding the area. We loved the area and Adina so much that we decided to extend our stay from 4 nights to 9 nights. I can't imagine staying anywhere else next time I am in Bondi. Highly recommend.
We had an issue with the bed that we had for our first 4 nights in room 215. It was very uncomfortable because you can feel the box springs digging into your back. We relayed this to one of the front desk staff and we asked for some sort of mattress foam topper. I'm not sure if this is common in Australia... Nonetheless, the man said he will send someone from Housekeeping to bring us something. This something turned out to be an extra duvet and we were told this was the best that they can do. We placed that extra duvet on the bed and it made it feel slightly better but still not comfortable.
When we spoke with some staff member to extend our stay, we mentioned the bed issue, and they told us that the bed in our room was due to be changed anyway and they were able to do this in the middle of our stay at Adina. While I'm happy that we got a more comfortable bed in the end, I can't help but feel a bit cheated out of 4 nights of comfortable sleep.

Honestly, they have this scent in the Lobby, Im not a fan of.

We always stay at the Adina in Bondi when we visit Sydney. The location is awesome, with many cafes, bookshops, boutiques and other facilities nearby. A short walk down Hall Street to the beach. There is a wide range of rooms available, with the Studio adequate for us for two nights. The Studio apartments have a kitchenette with coffee pod machine, kettle, toaster and microwave. We like that both the lounge and dining table are a generous size. The table was great for a workplace. There's also a coffee/drinks table and chairs on the terrace. The large king size bed is very comfortable, and the view was lovely with a small terrace and sunny outlook. The double-glazed sliding doors cut out external sound very well and the heavy curtains blocked the light for a good night's sleep. The pool is great, a good size for laps and sheltered, easy to enjoy even in winter especially with the hot spa to soak away the activities of the day.
In the Studio apartment there is a cupboard with hanging space and space for a suitcase, any additional suitcase is placed on a fold out holder in the room. The bathroom is a little tight but very clean and up to date. If you want more space for a longer stay, I suggest you choose a larger apartment to suit your needs. We were perfectly happy for two nights.
