Good location. Near the lake. Very quiet area.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t a good stay. We were given a flat in the attic with garden view only although our booking stated that there will be a mountain view. We asked the owner to change the room so can view the mountain but she told us all the rooms had already been occupied. Also, there was only one towel and we were told the cost of the towels is 10€ per person!!! Not enough lighting and sockets. Very small. With these negative points the rent cost was high!! Mosquitos wandering in ten flat. With these cons, the rent cost was very high. We paid 160$ per night. Max 100$ is reasonable for such a flat. Very disappointing.

The host is a very nice lady, she was kind enough to accommodate our special request regarding check in time. The view from the balcony was beautiful, the room and bathroom very clean. We appreciated the selection of tea/coffee and the host raising our attention to local events happening that we may have missed otherwise.
While there is a bus service that drops you off pretty close, more often than not we had to take the 35 mins hike in the evenings as the service is scarce after 6PM.
The walls/ceiling might have been a bit too thin, we heard the guests moving down the stairs early in the morning and moving furniture above us.

A nice host. A large apartment. Close to the cable car.
Rather expensive for a simple accommodation. Damp smell in the apartment (on the ground floor).

My stay at Waldhaus Opitz was great. The very attentive host ensured that every aspect of our stay was taken care of. They were remarkable in replying to messages quickly, providing us with timely and helpful information whenever we needed it. The location was a dream for any mountain enthusiast, being close to the mountains and ski lifts. I would wholeheartedly recommend Waldhaus Opitz to anyone looking for a seamless and delightful stay in the heart of the mountains.
There was nothing we didn't like; it was exactly what we needed and expected.

Location of the appartement is just near the slope. Parking is available. And appartment is clean.
Value for money is just poor. Beds have holes so on a double bed you could sleep just on the middle, if you went to the side you just sink in. Appartment shows signs of being old, not maintaned regularily. We were quiet and respectful to the other guests at all times so at the checkout even good morning or have a safe trip would be appreciated from the host. For that money you could get much better stay. Or maybe we just expected too much.

The view was very good, the apartment was clean, but there is only one tiny issue, that the apartment studio was small for family with 5 person (2 adults 3 children)
The bathroom should be improved specially the shower place is small.
