We immediately felt very welcome.
Very clean and comfortable appartment. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great with a large variety of choices.
The room in the attic was very warm.
The kitchen was well equiped, but a microwave would be useful.

Peaceful , spotless clean and fresh.
No complimentary tea bags or milk. Had to go and find a shop open so we could have a hot drink. This wasn’t easy as it was Easter Saturday and the whole area had closed for the weekend

We did a multi country road trip, and stayed at several hotels, this was by far the worst. When we first arrived they let us know the WiFi wasn't working, which is a problem for people relying on internet for their school or work. They had it up for a little bit late that night but then it went out again. When we got into our room we noticed the fridge propped open with a dirty rag. Come to find out the refrigerator didn't work at all, which sucked for the snacks we bought. Next there was only one trash can in the whole suite, and it was the small one in the bathroom. They also have a big sign on their door telling you to clean your room yourself. We stayed in other hotels in Villach before, that were half the price and didn't ask you to sweep your own floors and take out your own trash (typically room cleaning is included in hotel service). Lastly when we went to check out, the windows on our car were completely iced over so we used the remote start to defrost them, and the guy that works there told us to turn the car off. Which again stayed in Austria before during winter and never been an issue to defrost your windows. Overall this place seemed very rude, and uncomfortable and there are a ton of better options to stay around Villach (usually cheaper) where you will have a better experience!

Location.
I totally advise against this guesthouse. I totally advise against it. The facility is in poor condition, the rooms are old, the bathroom has a bare concrete wall painted over with paint (no tiles), which affects the lack of hygiene. There is no conveniently accessible socket in the bathroom to plug anything in. a fan whirring directly outside the room's window, a large notice on the door in the room asking guests to place dishes in the dishwasher - and there is no dishwasher. There is information in the facility that it is completely closed on many days of the week, it is hard to be surprised that there are no guests there since the staff is so rude. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, the owner of the guesthouse ran out to us in the parking lot and shouted at us. It was very unprofessional and uncultured. After her behavior, I realized why there were only us and no other guests in the facility, it is hard to be surprised after such behavior. The room equipment is very poor, no iron in the room, not even the possibility of renting one (this is the first time I have experienced something like this in my life) I totally advise against it, I suggest you find another place to stay. The facility looks like it is about to declare bankruptcy and the whole thing is to be taken over by a bailiff.
