If youre coming by car, you can park at the garage just across the street from the hotel (Altstadtgarage Nikolai) and follow the signs for the hotel. Its a public garage but its connected to the hotel itself. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent and they have room service. Great location in central Villach and a beautiful view.
Breakfast is overpriced, so make sure to book a room with the breakfast included.

Welcome by a very kind lady, super evening arrival. welcoming room setup. Marble bath.
Bit too Soft mattress. Regarding comfort, you hear the people talking in the hallway. The checkout with request to need to be at appointment was all about what the receptionist needed and not the guest. Its guest wellbeing we pay for it as guests and sometimes it needs to be fast. Would not stay again.

Sound insulation between rooms is poor, you can hear conversation and TV from next room... Bad view on backstreet...

Breakfast was good.
The rooms are small and there's no privacy when you use the shower and toilet. There is a see through wall around the shower area and you can see your companion showering and can hear everything when they use the toilet. Very uncomfortable beds. The lighting is also terrible especially in the bathroom area. Definitely not worth the price tag.

We got upgraded from a deluxe room to penthouse luxe - enormous room with patio to play golf! Very good breakfast. Great National park 30 min drive from Villach up in the mountains
Breakfast is very expensive (37eur) so be mindful to check it is already included into the room rate. While there is a good restaurant for dinner in the hotel, it can be closed for some group events
