Vienna Sporthotel is set in a quiet neighborhood in Vienna's 3rd district, with easy access to the A4 and A23 motorways and only a 5-minute underground train ride from the city center, offering an outdoor pool, tennis courts and a spa area. The parking in Vienna is extreme expensive.

The property has a very good place for public parking theres a lot of you can park for free. Especially when parking in Vienna is very expensive
There was no cold water in the shower it’s either hot or very hot water. Especially, I don’t wash my hair with hot water. The dust in the room was too much. My boyfriend had allergies the whole time. There’s not so much choice for breakfast very little. They don’t even have alternatives for lactose intolerant people. Like almond milk or something.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable, there was a minibar you could choose drinks and snacks, and free coffee/tea refilled every morning. It was close to the metro/bakery/ supermarket. I had an amazing experience!
They allow to smoke canabis which is something I don’t actually agree with, from where I come from. However we didn’t mind the odor at all.

The hotel feels outdated, and the staff seemed somewhat disengaged from their work. Unfortunately, we even found a cockroach in the room. Breakfast was average at best, and for the price, I expected a higher level of quality.

The location of the hotel was fairly good, within 15 minutes of train/metro station, so walking from station to hotel was easy. The reception staff were excellent , both checking in and checking out. The hotel was very clean and in good condition decoratively. Unfortunately, I was not able to avail myself of the facilities, especially the pool, but was impressed with the range on offer. The bar and restaurant staff were excellent. My room was at the end of the building, but was easily accessible and considering the hotel is next to a main road, quiet enough. It was very spacious and well equipped, with a safe and fridge (and minibar if required). Breakfast was available from 0630, a boon if one had an early departure planned from the railway station! Just on a point of information, if one requires any additional snacks/drinks, there is a local (Billa) supermarket within 750 metres. Local buses e.g. 77a will get you to the city centre, as well the U3 metro line (Schlachthausgasse station.) There is also a great local inn, about 500mmetres or so, serving decent food and beer. (Gasthaus Schmitzberger)
Breakfast selection was limited compared to other European hotels and hot food selection extremely so. It doesn't especially bother me, but I know others would comment on this. Nevertheless, what was on offer was extremely well presented and in a very hygienic environment.

It was good for our purpose, to be close to the bus station. Nice bar and restaurant area and outdoor patio. Walkable to groceries and a few restaurants. We opted to order off the menu for breakfast as we don't eat big and it was better value.
My only complaint is I hate when a bed is placed against a wall.as was the case in our room.
