I liked the room overall. It was comfortable and provided a pleasant place to relax during our stay. The location was also convenient and made it easy to get around and access nearby attractions. The staff were friendly and professional, which contributed to a positive experience.
What I didn't like was the housekeeping issue we encountered on our last night. When we returned to our room, we noticed several red spots on the bed sheets that appeared to be blood stains. Finding this at the end of an otherwise pleasant stay was disappointing and raised concerns about cleanliness and attention to detail.
I was also frustrated by the confusion regarding checkout. Around 11:00am, someone from the hotel came to our room and told us that we had missed our checkout time, even though checkout was scheduled for 12:00pm. This suggested a lack of communication among staff and created unnecessary stress on the morning of our departure.

They lie about the price, they write - price for 2 adults but at the property they tell me that it is for 1 adult. Booking told me that they will do the refund , however they did not reply me anymore told me to send invoice I have sent and that’s it. I have all the screenshots that you lie about the price!!

Great location, walking distance to the park, the metro, many attractions and most good restaurants, spacious room for 4 (2 kids+2 adults), the kids also loved the pool
The room was not properly cleaned before or during our stay, when something fell to the ground I had to look under the beds and it was all dusty and dirty, there were hairs in the bathroom (shower, sink, toilette), overall no deep cleaning was done. We did not get breakfast, so I can't comment on it

The good stuff: being greeted at reception with prosecco and chocolates was a nice touch, and the front desk staff were always attentive and friendly — as was everyone in the lobby area. The breakfast also genuinely deserves credit, and you could tell the staff actually made an effort to make guests feel welcome and comfortable.
A few years back when I stayed at the Marriott in Skopje, I was genuinely blown away. The hotel was fantastic — way above what you'd expect from that city. Then after more than 20 years of regular trips to Vienna, I finally stayed at a Marriott there for the first time, and again I was left speechless — but for completely the opposite reason. The hotel is nowhere near the standard of the city. It gave me serious Ryanair vibes, honestly. Which is a shame.
Аlready at check-in, the upgrade pitches start. "We have better rooms available if you'd like to upgrade..." Оnce you get to your room and connect to the free Wi-Fi, the first thing that pops up is an offer to pay for faster, better internet.
The minibars are locked by default — you can only use them if you leave a deposit at reception. If you need it for medication or something like that, they bring you an extra fridge and stick it wherever it fits.
The rooms weren't cleaned properly either. And the quality of the towels was, to put it mildly, not great.
Probably the worst part of the whole stay — the Garten Café. Far from the food and service standards in the city. We went twice — and I already knew going back the second time was a mistake.
Caesar salad — vegetables drowning in a heavy dressing (3.5/10). Club sandwich — passable, nothing more (6.5/10). Schnitzel — not even close to the real thing, and if the real thing is Figlmüller, then this was miles away (4.5/10). Beef soup — pretty mediocre (4/10). Esterházy cake — twice the size of what you'd get at Oberlaa, but five times staler and completely flavorless (2/10).
Worst experience of all though: a waiter named Pierre Cabassu — rude, arrogant, and just unpleasant to deal with. If you do end up sitting at the Garten Café against your better judgment, try to avoid being seated in his section.

Great location, a beautiful hotel, and very professional service. A special thanks to Julie at the concierge desk, she was incredibly helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. Staff like her are the reason we would happily come back to this hotel again
