Very Good
Breakfast was good/service very good at breakfast.
Bed was large and very comfortable.
Bathroom was very good as well.
Liked the "authenticity" of the place.
We wanted to take a taxi at 7:15am.
My husband asked the young lady at reception to book a cab for us for 7:15.
He came up to the room to help me bring the luggage down and when we got there, she still had not ordered a cab and we had a 30 min ride to the train station. I was livid as he had asked her at least 15 minutes prior and she argued that she was waiting for both of us to be there BEFORE ordering the cab. Then, she started to defend her position... I was getting really tense as I was afraid that we might miss our train !
Another employee came to our rescue and told her not to speak anymore to us and that he would handle it. He apologised sincerely for the error and said that she was a "trainee". We were not happy !!!
My German isn't that great, so I asked the gentleman to please find us a cab and explain that we were in a hurry.
He did find one and the driver was excellent, running some amber lights to get us to our train on time :)

Our room was beautiful and large. It was cleaned everyday to a very high standard. Breakfast was really excellent. Location cannot be beaten. Everything we wanted to see was walkable.

Location is perfect, rooms feel like period Vienna….delightful, staff are discreet and always keen to help, I can’t fault the place.
Maybe a kettle for a cup of tea or coffee wouldn’t be too much to ask given the price

The relatively high cost of rooms is due to the hotel's excellent location. The room we had was small; the TV tiny; closet space was limited; and the prior guest's bar soap was left in the bathroom sink. There were no robes or slipper provided. The breakfast had limited offerings. But again, an excellent location and the front-desk staff were always friendly and very helpful on all inquiries.

Breakfast is comparable to other European hotels the staff is very nice location is outstanding very enjoyable four night stay we will returning to Vienna in a few weeks and look forward to staying there again

Older hotel in a great location and central to all the museums and tourist attractions as well as restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were spacious. Breakfast was very good as was the coffee.
The shower didn’t drain properly.

The staff were all so lovely. The location was perfect, just moments away from Stephansplatz and the U-bahn. The room was very comfortable and bigger than I'd expected for a single room. The hotel was charming and it felt like a home away from home.
The AC unit randomly made crackly/banging noises, which wasn't great in the middle of the night. Also, the blackout portion of the window dressings didn't cover the entire window.

Superb location and a charming traditional hotel
They thankfully gave me an early check in and I was upgraded to a double room as well
They are trying to keep the old charm but there are some outdated furniture that needs renovation
The room could do with an electric kettle or a coffee maker!

Excellent friendly staff go out of the way to help you.
Towels are too small. The tub for taking the shower is ok but very hard to get in and out of for seniors. Coat of breakfasts is very high.
