Wonderful
Comfortable & spacious room. Friendly & helpful staff. Good relaxed breakfast (mostly continental style). Generally, very nice and quiet.
Towels were rather thin - not thick and fluffy as we'd like. Heard some odd plumbing noises (?) sometimes at night that disturbed our sleep.

Wonderful
The grand ambience on arrival, friendly reception desk, very quiet and high ceiling room and a super breakfast. A terrific location allowed me to walk everywhere I needed to go.
Not much. The bath/shower valve meant that the shower ran when I ran a bath but that's a small niggle. Inner courtyard view (but this was a cheaper room) . WIFI was a bit hit and miss - couldn't get on in the evening, was ok the next morning.

Wonderful
Excellent central location near many key historical sites. Hotel Kaiserin Elizabeth had historical connections to Austrian history which we found endearing. Staff were excellent, with good a great breakfast and good quality spotlessly clean rooms. I would strongly recommend and stay there again.
I found zero faults.

Good
Hotel was clean and tidy. Good breakfast. Perfect location
Upon arrival, the room (level3) was not ready. Manager offered us an alternative room claiming it was bigger and better. Room was at level 1, very poorly lit and depressing. Aircon was not working. I talked to manager who first claimed that the Aircon issue applied to all room and offered a fan. After questioning, he changed his statement and said the aircon in the level 3 room was working. The level 3 room was much better so he tried to pin us with a room that no one wants. Generally, staff looks very stressed and not happy. When asked for an Iron, I was taken to the top floor where I had to iron in the middle of the hallway. See Pic. During breakfast, you don't get greeted or offered any services. Staff barely speak English and gives conflicting info about the food. Bags are left for you at the lift to carry to the room by yourself. I saw some elderly couple struggling with their bags and no assistance were offered. Pillows are useless and no other options available.
