Built in 1913, Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof is located in the center of the first district of Vienna, only a few steps from the Hofburg Imperial Palace. Free WiFi is available. The property is in excellent modern condition and it surprised me with one of the reviews mentioned that it needs update . The staff was kind , considerate and professional. Cleaning services were superb and on the third advent there were gifts ! Did I mention the incredible breakfast

The location is amazing !!! Really quality hotel It's very expensive for non breakfast and ok size rooms . I wish that was jacuzzi at the wellness place, not very useful. Overall great hotel location more then everything

Great great location. All best sightseeing, architectural grandeur palaces & historic sites, next door access to subway and best of all you can walk to almost anywere. Great staff as well.

The hotel has great kerb appeal & is situated in an excellent location to explore the city as you are within short walking distances to everything. The comfort this hotel provides is amazing with good quality beds & pillows offering you a wide choice ranging from firm to soft. The cleanliness is 10/10 you cannot fault it. The only thing I thought there would be seeing as this is a 5* hotel was underfloor heating in the bathroom but it wasn’t a big deal the hotel was very warm all of the time anyway. The breakfast was a tad pricy for what it was, but was still very good quality with a selection of hot & cold options. I loved sitting in the bar area on the comfortable sofas. The waiting staff at the bar were very friendly & attentive. We were left a gift in our room with it being December that we visited, it was a bag of nuts oranges & a chocolate Santa wafer which we thought was a lovely touch, plus there is free popcorn made for you at reception if you fancy some! I would definitely book this hotel again when I return to this fabulous city it was like home from home for me.
I feel the reception staff could be a bit friendlier.
