Exceptional
I stayed here for 3 nights. The staff is very friendly and makes your stay as comfortable as possible. While I had heard that the area is not the safest in Vienna, I never personally had any dangerous or suspicious encounters; there were no shady noises outside at night either. In fact, I found the location a great asset: it is right next to the subway station which takes you to the city center in just about 10 minutes. It is also very close to the Train Station (Hbf) and you can even walk there. Unlike some other hostels, each individual bed here is equipped with charging ports and sockets. The breakfast, while not exceptional in quality, was totally worth the price. There are vegan and gluten-free options as well. The bar serves good drinks, and they even offered free welcome drinks one evening! I believe they organize some dancing and game nights as well.
Though not all, but some lockers (including mine) make a loud noise when you open/close them, and it can be disturbing at night or early morning. Apart from that, I did not find any other inconveniences.

The location and the price
The bed storage is really noisy every time you open or close it while dragging, and it doesn't open 90 degrees, so it's really hard to open it completely and get the stuff easily

I stayed from 21–23 October 2025 in a shared dorm room with bunk beds. The overall experience was great, the hostel was clean, modern, and well-located near the main station, making it easy to explore Vienna and catch early trains. The beds were comfortable, with curtains for privacy and individual power outlets. The staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. I didn’t opt for the breakfast, but the on-site bar and nearby food options were convenient. Definitely recommend for solo travelers or anyone visiting Vienna on a short trip!
The room could get a bit warm at night since there wasn’t much ventilation, and the lockers under the beds were a bit noisy when people opened them late. Other than that, everything was well-managed and comfortable.

Location is fantastic, all female dorm had two double beds, I didn’t mind the self check in.
No lockers, just cupboards so I had to carry my valuables around with me during the day which really isn’t fun. Beds were extremely noisy.

The staff was nice and helpful. The hostel had good socialization hours so it was good to meet people. If you close the window it gets pretty quiet. The area is right next to public transit.
The beds were extremely hard. You can’t even lay on your side or stomach because it’s so hard it feels like cardboard so your head will be in this weird position and the pillow isn’t thick enough. I was in the room still getting ready when the cleaning staff came in and still everything in the showers and toilets were old and rusty. There’s no towels to dry your hands and not even an air dryer to dry your hands. I’m not sure what people are suppose to do. I also dislike when hostels do not provide a towel and you must rent one yourself, I think it should be included in the price and not nickel and dime everyone.

Bed is sturdy. All beds get their own lights and outlet. Good stay for its price
Facilities seems old. Especially things like boiler in the washroom are rusted.
